During the live broadcast of the NBC Nightly News, the network aired a report from Morgan Radford that detailed the shooting death of Nykea Aldridge, first cousin of NBA superstar Dwyane Wade, in Chicago. Radford’s report painted a grim picture of the gun violence epidemic in the windy city.

Did you catch the Saturday edition of this NBC news show where it became an offshoot of Univision with nearly every reporter being Hispanic, including the in-studio host? Didn’t think they’d get done on time, everybody so wrapped up in rolling their Rs endlessly.

I suppose the same guy who deleted the reports of Muslims in the USA celebrating 9/11, reports many of us remember vividly but which we are told never happened and for which there is no footage to be found, did the deed.
This especially irritates the crap out of me. I don’t ask anyone to pronounce my name the way it is pronounced in its original language - and my family didn’t do this from the moment that they stepped foot here. Jesus. Or should I say, “Hesus”.
OK, we get it, they are of Hispanic origin. BFD. What do they want - a medal? A towel? What???
By other blacks, as well. You know totally different spin if white shooters.

Here in Houston, there used to be a news reader whose name involved a big r-roll on her first and last name. She never missed a chance to ostentatiously roll those r's. One night in 1984 or so, they were doing a story on how accurate or inaccurate the movie AMADEUS (based on the life and death of Mozart) was. This lady who prided herself on the pronunciation of her own name pronounced the name of Mozart as "Moe's Art".
They don't give a rat's arse about pronunciations in languages other than Spanish.
Maybe it’s time to boycott the advertisers of these network “news” stations that are doing everything they can to hide the truth and help the Criminal.
We have not recourse. They will turn this election with their Soviet style propaganda.
Time to hurt them in their wallets.
It is common courtesy to pronounce the name as a person likes their name to be pronounced.
It is common courtesy to adapt to one’s new homeland, and learn the language. English. We don’t role the “r” AFAIK.
I can’t believe people still tune into old school archaic TV news. Those people must be really challenged.
Too bad. Many English folk are unable to pronounce foreign names the way they like it pronounced. If they don’t like it, they can always deport themselves outahere.
Wow. True to form, liberal news replaced by hispanic music, just like all democrat talk radio in NyC. Democrats is the party of suicide.

It is discourteous to demand it when those sounds don’t exist in the common language.
