Two shooters opened fire on partygoers at a house party in Bridgeport, Connecticut, wounding 13 in the early hours of August 21, according to police.
According to the Associated Press, police think the shooters opened fire from behind some hedges surrounding the homes backyard. Eleven men and two women were wounded. Bridgeport police spokesman Av Harris said the attackers targeted people both inside and outside the home.
The Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence reports that CT has universal background checks, no gun show loophole, a ban on high capacity magazines, and a prohibition on the transfer or possession of assault weapons. Moreover, CT requires residents to obtain an eligibility license before being able to buy a handgun, long gun, or ammunition and there is a two-week waiting period on long gun purchases.
NJ.com reports the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence ranked CT as the state with the 5th most stringent gun controls in 2o11. But Governor Dannel Malloy (D) went all in for more gun control after Adam Lanza stole guns from his motherkilling her in the processthen attacked innocents at Sandy Hook Elementary in December 2012. Universal background checks, a ban on high capacity magazines, and an expansion of the states assault weapons ban were all part of the legislation he signed post-Sandy Hook.
But yet 13 people were shot and wounded at a Bridgeport house party after two shooters opened fire, as reported.

Amish barn-raising?
I would guess that those involved were among our dusky bretheren.
Bridgeport. Classy city.
Good damn thing they can’t shoot straight.
5th most stringent in gun control and yet crime stats are high even for a tourist town:

and with only 3,500 republicans in town, democrats went nostalgic for the same old same old mayor:

who promptly took $250,000 from the police salary fund for new police recruits and earmarked it for ‘youth activities’

Bridgeport is another Democrat hellhole with liberal policies and high crime.
Bridgeport?! Shocking. I was fully expecting this ‘house party’ to have been in New Canaan.

Joe Ganim’s turf. Another rat disgrace.
The story doesn’t give specifics but this is Connecticut. Probably investment bankers and lawyers unwinding from high stress jobs in the big city.
Folks, Connecticut’s gun stance aside, let’s be honest about other parts.
It’s a party, you are not supposed to have guns or gunfire. BYOB, not BYOG. Nor should everyone have to be packing because they are worried about a random guest going on a shooting spree.
There is a real distinct possibility that the guns used were not owned legally in any state.
The shooters were most likely the demographic that has a penchant and history of doing this type of thing and no law was going to stop them. Almost assuredly there were other guns at the party or nearby but they were not deployed in time.
Connecticut has strict gun laws yes, but in this day and age if you have to be sold on getting a gun then you haven’t been paying attention for the last 30 years and you weren’t really sold on the idea anyway.
Louisiana has some pretty liberal gun laws and I distinctly remember a story from the last two years where one guy shot a dozen or more people at a street gathering. Point is, it can happen anywhere democrats gather.
But then, it's today's presstitutes .. dunno why we should expect any actual reporting.
Yes, it is not the levels of gun control, it it the number of available criminals a locale has that drives crime stats.
1:30AM - It wasn’t the church school picnic. It was a 100+ people “hours party.” Most likely some kind of gang hit.
Bridgeport - Elected mayor who is felon. Joe Ganin spent 7 years in the slammer for federal felony corruption charges.
The one city in Connecticut I try to avoid at all costs. Bridgeport wants to the Chiraq of the east coast.
“house party” darn autocorrect
but did they cry dorko ackbar sickus
