A monkey was briefly loose on a Las Vegas-bound Frontier flight from Ohio at one point late Tuesday, according to McCarran International Airport officials.
Melissa Nunnery, a spokeswoman with the airport, couldnt clarify what loose meant, but said a Frontier staffer reported to McCarran that the monkey was loose, or got loose briefly during the flight.
Its unclear what type of monkey it was, but Nunnery said the monkey was an emotional support animal, adding that the passenger had all the proper paperwork to have the monkey on the plane with him.

“Emotional support animal”...we’re doomed.
I worked around the Pentagon in the 2010-2013 era. There was starting to become this trend of emotional support animals to appear within the building. Civilians mostly. One day, the question came up....was there a regulation over this? Well...not exactly. So they decided to write a reg on this. But this started a whole big discussion....what animals were to be allowed? Dogs only? Would we force a paperwork trail to exist? Where would the dogs relieve themselves? What if dogs got into a fight? What if fleas started to occur in office areas?
At some point in a building meeting....the guy leading the meeting admitted that this was getting awful deep now into discussion and way past the point of some half-page regulation. I left before they finalized anything.
The monkey was “loose?”
Maybe they meant sexually promiscuous; after all, the plane was headed for Las Vegas and as we all know, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!
Did someone spank that monkey?
What was Michael Moore doing in Vegas?
What these phonies need is an “emotional support kick in the @ss.”
So, Joe Scarborough flew frontier on a flight to Vegas?
No, no one spanked the monkey for putting out a bad poll for NBC.
Imagine the chaos if it had been a tight monkey ...
Didn’t take long. The new protected class suddenly appeared, and is now firmly established in the hall of fame of victims and special privileges: “Emotional support animal”.
How long before someone wants to “marry” his “Emotional support animal”?
So, all those snakes on a plane were nothing but emotional support animals. Nothing to worry about.
“What if fleas started to occur in office areas?”
People keep fleas as support animals?
