I couldn’t care less about the job NBC has been doing. It’s possible they are doing a bad job of coverage. Certainly a lot of commercials.
I have really enjoyed it. Except for the global warming crap, during which I sat and argued with the television, and that, annoyed the wife. But other than that, I thought it was wonderful.
The last Olympics I remember had Jim McKay talking about ‘the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat,’ while some gomer on skis wiped out on the long jump.
It's ridiculous that the olympics got beyond a scam on the internet.
The Clintons know who to whack as they cement their power over the institutions.

True. We are. Cleaning out my desk would be a more productive use of my time than watching NBC and Brazil promote Global Warming.

I was switching back and forth between the opening ceremonies and baseball, so I’m sure I missed quite a bit of the idiocy on parade. ....like the global warming propaganda.

Several things; Nearly every countrie's athletes were proudly carrying and waving their respective nation's flag, EXCEPT FOR THE AMERICAN ATHLETES: NO AMERICAN FLAGS! Disgraceful. One more gripe: All the various, narcissistic, self-centered athletes taking pictures of themselves using "selfie sticks": Nauseating! In the future the use of "selfie sticks" should be permanently banned.
