Former GOP presidential hopeful Jeb Bush shared some rather dismal predictions for a Donald Trump presidency, but, so far, didn't discount that it could happen.
Bush sat down for his first conversation since Trump became the presumptive Republican nominee chatting with his brother's former White House communications director Nicolle Wallace on MSNBC.
The former Florida governor, who dropped his bid for the White House in February on the night of the South Carolina primary, said voters will 'feel betrayed' by Trump because some of his campaign promises – from building a Mexican border wall to banning non-American Muslims from the country – would never materialize.

Jebs’s right on this one for a change. Republicans should always promise up front that they’ll continue to do nothing like they always do nothing, and then their constituency would quit “feeling betrayed” about them doing nothing and continue to vote for do-nothings like Jeb instead of voting for people like Trump who give GOP voters hope that a Republican might actually do something for a change. Never attempt to give GOP voters hope, Jeb: it’s too foreign of a concept for us to understand.
So Jeb why didn’t your brother build the Wall?
And Jeb! goes on to say that if the wall DOES get built, he and his in-laws will take sledgehammers, and tear it down, from both sides.
Two things. One, the honesty about how the GOPe was never serious about securing the border is refreshing.
Secondly, now that Jeb thinks Trump will do poorly, I am now VERY convinced Trump is going to win. Never underestimate the curse of Jeb.
Jethro is livid that Trump took his spot. It was his turn.
Maybe the Bush backers feel betrayed too!
