Rude messages greet Ajax [near Toronto] drivers on drive to work

Some commuters got some rather strange traffic tips earlier this week in Ajax.

Whitby Coun. Elizabeth Roy snapped photos of these “rogue” road signs, one wishing drivers a “not so nice” morning while another warned of some strong atmospheric disturbances.

Durham Region officials say someone got access to the construction sign’s controls on Westney Road and changed the message sometime during the night.

The messages were removed later that morning.

At least they don’t have to warn about zombies like they do in central Texas. http://www.foxnews.com/story/2009/01/29/hackers-crack-into-texas-road-sign-warn-zombies-ahead.html

This probably did brighten the morning of some people, as they laughed their way to work.

These things are sinfully easy to hack, as many owners don’t bother to change the default password.

It seems pretty easy to hack these signs. Save the information for November 7th & 8th (LOL)
