Brother and sister ‘drug dealers’ are arrested after police find record $24MILLION in cash hidden in orange buckets in the walls of their Miami home
so... it’s illegal to have cash now?
Or was there some related crime?
“peddling marijuana”
“Peddling”?
24 million — that’s a LOT of peddle.
damn... in HD buckets no less....
Breaking Frugal.
Having $24 million in cash needing to get out of the walls in your home would be an interesting problem to have.
You think they’d have know to quit while they were ahead.
Shouldn’t the first few million have been enough? Why keeping chancing losing it all by continuing to sell illicit drugs?
The cops found drugs and guns too. But I wonder what Florida state law has to say about possession of hidden cash as a criminal matter. Certainly there’s an appearance of impropriety but we are all presumed innocent, or are supposed to be.
My absolute first question is if Luis or Salma are American citizens, green card holders or just plain illegals.
By any measure of common sense, secreting $24 million in Homer Buckets within the walls undoubtedly points to drugs, illegal activity and/or worse.
More saving more (drug) doing
Must be an IRS enforcement action.
(grin)
They needed a friend with a yacht who would accept a small percentage for a stealth cruise to an overseas bank...Cap’n Ketill
Hey...revolutions need resources ;)

Greed is nearly as infinite as stupidity is?
Greed begets more greed. As Christ said: "The love of money is the root of all sorts of evil."
“Gonzalez was held on $12,500 bail for conspiracy and drug-related charges.
WTF?
Miami-Dade prosecutor Adam Korn said: ‘For a man with $20million in his walls, an elevated bond is clearly necessary.”
No $hit
Yeah, peddling. A truckload here, a truck load there.
Could even be a Cuban gov’t backed operation.
