Florida man could get life in prison for mosque bacon attack
Jihad Watch ^ | 2/27/2016 | Robert Spencer

There is no excuse for what Michael Wolfe did. He is guilty of being hateful and stupid, and committing armed burglary and criminal mischief. He should be sentenced accordingly. In Portland, Mohamed Mohamud attempted to commit jihad mass murder at a Christmas Tree lighting ceremony. He got thirty years in prison, and his lawyers are claiming that sentence was draconian and should be reduced. Michael Wolfe should get life in prison for bacon while Mohamed Mohamud gets thirty years for attempted mass murder? This indicates yet again that Muslims in the U.S. are rapidly becoming a protected class, of whom authorities are particularly solicitous. Michael Wolfe deserves punishment. The punishment should fit the crime.

It is past time for a total overhaul of our legal system! Life in prison for this, but proven rapists, murderers and thieves get out on parole or never go to prison due to plea bargains or fouled up legal proceedings? Drug users convicted but drug pushers, sellers out to do more crime? Prostitutes locked up but pimps/madams out on technicality? And throw in the protected groups (Muslims, LGBTQ and others), the corruption of the institution of law starting with lawyers advertising their services, ambulance chasing, litigation at the drop of a pin, and our “victim” mentality in this country, abd so on...justice is truly flawed!

Now you will believe me when I repeat, as I do incessantly,

“Hate crime laws were created to criminalize anything a White says or does, or doesn’t say or doesn’t do, and to set free non-Whites who physically assault Whites. “

A non violent crime. And Obama releases thousands of violent offenders from prisons.

His punishment should consist of a proper haircut, for starters. Beyond that, I couldn’t say. Maybe a lifetime of Sunday breakfasts at Cracker Barrel?

Police said the convicted felon acted alone...

So I'm guessing it isn't only the current charges that could send him away for life but the fact that they are added to past felony convictions triggering a mandatory sentencing law that could do it.

If you can't do the time, etc., etc.

He should be forced to eat some bacon.

Except that as the story says he's a convicted felon. Standing alone these acts, assuming he's guilty, may only get him a few years. But as a convicted felon who is arrested for another crime while armed with a deadly weapon? I don't know Florida law at all but I assume they have some sort of sentencing guidelines that are kicking in for this guy and could result in the life sentence.
