Actually this is sort of significant - Camden County is and has been heavily ‘rat for years - it includes of course Camden City and is the home base from which Jimmy Florio won the governorship twenty years ago or so - the current representative to the House from this district, Norcross, is a big power player in south Jersey and is sponsoring many candidates for various offices in the region to widen his empire - it would seem that the best play for any politician in the area would be to stay on the Norcross team, so jumping ship must mean either particular displeasure with him or attraction to Trump....

The RAT dilemma: Many democrats can't stand Hillary. They are the Bernie Sanders voters who were looking for someone they could trust and now are left in the lurch. Their choice was to vote for a criminal or not vote at all. Trump will pick up many registered democrats and independents for that reason.
