“So, you believe that someone on the terror watch list should be able to get the gun on the spot and then take a u-turn to the nearest theater to do his thing?”

Yes, I believe that all US citizens retain their rights in full until they are convicted by a jury of their peers. That pesky constitution kind of enshrined it....

Trump should discuss 3D printing guns and the possibility of mass orders of the Ghost Gunner. Get on the ban list? Buy a printer and as many 80% blanks as you please and laugh while you print ar-10’s or 15’s. And you don’t even have to use payment methods linked to you.

Making guns illegal will reduce illegal gun use in America just as much as making drugs illegal reduced illegal drug use in America and the leftists know this. Time to talk about something else.

Your worry is that a law taking away right from people on a no-fly list could be perverted to deny guns to decent American citizens instead of potential terrorists. That is a concern. Any law can be perverted to be used against us. The question then becomes, should we not have any laws that are good in principle but can be perverted, or should we not take the risk? For another example, 2nd amendment supporters have said the problem is mental illness. But if we deny rights to the deranged, what if they claim that conservatism is a mental illness?

The thing to do is have laws that make sense, and if leftists pervert them, the problem is leftists, not the law. I might not support this no fly list law, not without protections built in for good Americans, but I don't think it's a big deal to be willing to discuss it. Especially since he's bringing in the NRA. You said you were done with Trump because of it.

Stephen Hayes of The Weekly Standard was put on the no-fly list because he purchased a one-way ticket to Instanbul, Turkey. He & his wife were going on vacation and planned to fly home from Athens, Greece two weeks later.

Turkey is a primary transit point for jihadists headed into Syria. I understand the logic, but what is the process for getting off the list?

Most laws will, inevitably, be perverted. For this reason they should be as few as possible. For some reason folks seem to have forgotten “The government that governs best, governs least.”

Problem is, the definition of ‘deranged’ is in the hands of the deranged and the evil. And such laws will be neither good in principle or intent.

I will be interested in hearing the ACLU take on this. Also interested in what CAIR and other Islamic advocacy groups say about it as it’s going to inordinately affect citizens or immigrant of Islamic backgrounds. I would expect them to cry discrimination and profiling.

That I agree with you on.

I referred to American citizens without due process.

The problem with the terrorist watch list is that there are estimated to be 300,000 names on it which were put there in error. Those are the errors. That doesn’t count the fact they may mass-enter names from a database, just to keep an eye on them, like when they inputted all registered motorcycle owners in the gang database for monitoring.

I’ll bet every person who ever joined a Militia is in it, as is every person who ever open carried at a political protest.

Without knowing how these names are being put on the list, I don’t see how anybody could support it.

If they’re not a moslem, they shouldn’t be on the list.

My "No" answer was to this:

Are you in league with Barack Hussein 0bama, Hillary Clinton, Dianne Feinstein, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, and Jeh Johnson in favoring secret "No Guns" lists and universal background checks?

But you never answered my question as to whether or not you're still molesting children.

There are no innocent moslems, they just haven't been told to kill you yet. However, there are Arab Christians who might get on there by mistake.

They just need to pass the "Mohammad Joke Test" to take them off the list.

Yeah, we don’t need any due process rights or even the 1st 10 ammendments!

If they're not US Citizens, I'm only so worried about that...they can go to someplace that's "murdering/rapist" friendly.

Screw all that and let’s just put names on a list and move them to execution camps!

If they start killing enough Americans, they may get rounded up and separated from the general population REGARDLESS of what you and I think.

FDR may have jumped the gun about the Japanese Americans, they weren't raping and killing anyone, but how was he supposed to predict the future?

“If they’re not US Citizens, “

There is estimated to be approximately 1M US Citizens on the list. Remember, any name can be added to the list for many reasons not even related to terrorism. Who adds names? Unelected federal agency drones/bureaucrats. In fact, there are known cases where the bureaucrats have added ex-girlfriends and spouses to the list out of spite.

“If they start killing enough Americans, they may get rounded up and separated from the general population REGARDLESS of what you and I think.”

I agree that all murderers be separated from the general public. If they are US citizens, then they should face criminal charges and be imprisoned. If they are terrorist immigrants, they should be housed at Gitmo.

“FDR may have jumped the gun about the Japanese Americans, they weren’t raping and killing anyone, but how was he supposed to predict the future?”

That action was one of the darkest moments in our History. No liberty loving Conservative would ever advocate the mass imprisonment of US Citizens.

We must protect the individual liberty of ALL US Citizens, instead we are now using the arguments of the left to advocate ignoring the Bill of Rights.

There is estimated to be approximately 1M US Citizens on the list.

How do we know that, where is this list, and who has seen it? Of this "one million" how many actually deserve to be on it? As Obomber mentioned (and as we know) several of the mass murderers were "US Citizens".

The list needs to be released to the public, and Congress needs to raise holy hell about any non-moslems being on it.

No liberty loving Conservative would ever advocate the mass imprisonment of US Citizens.

He was wrong in those circumstances, but if the Japanese-Americans HAD been randomly slaughtering us...what else could we have done? Otherwise at that time in history, people would have been shooting them. Americans kind of had their hands full already. German immigrants also took a lot of grief from the public in the 40s and 50s. (first hand experience)

What if 500 imams commanded their bearded/burka'd freaks to go full jihad on the American public? American citizen or not...how do you tell them apart?

Dress? No.
Ethnic background? No.
Eye color? No.
Citizenship? No.
Queer? No.
Sex? No.

Unless they're undercover, if they frequent a mosk, they need to be watched. They're all just a phone call away from murdering you and your neighbors...they are the moslem "minute-men". Otherwise, what's the point of their having a standing army of "sleeper-cells" positioned in our society? They hate us , they have declared war on us, and will not hesitate to act.

And I don't want to hear about the "moderate moslems"....they're just "shut-up" moslems....trying to stay alive. There should be absolutely no moslems in our government, just like there should be no Communists nor Nazis...and I know that's not the case.

They are moslems FIRST, and their allegiance to this nation IS A LIE. Their US citizenship isn't worth the paper it's written on. If we need undercover agents that "have the look"...I'm sure there are plenty of persecuted Arab and African Christians who need the job.

There is no excuse whatsoever for having any members of this murderous anti-American CULT running around, plotting to undermine, terrorize and destroy the US.

Under your crazy Constitutional interpretation, we have no protection from terrorists who are intent on destroying our Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.....

Oh yeah we do..... uhhhhh... just wait until they are "convicted by a jury of their peers"!
