Americans in markets across the country could be looking at double-digit premium hikes under ObamaCare next year, according to a new study thats already fueling election-year finger-pointing.
The Kaiser Family Foundation report found premiums for popular low-cost plans under the health care law are projected to increase an average 11 percent in 2017.
Among the sharpest projected increases are: 26 percent in Portland, Ore.; 21 percent in the District of Columbia; and 16 percent in New York City.
The study focused on the two least-expensive and very popular silver policies. It specifically examined the impact of rising premiums on those whose income exceeds the limit to get government subsidies to defray the cost of mandatory insurance.

Good. Trump will get rid of Obamacare early in his first year in office.
Good!
WE NEED PEACE!!
The “Public Employee Affordable Care Enrollment” Act
All persons that can be classified as a “Public Employee” shall enroll in and purchase their Own Personal and Family Health Insurance Plan from the Affordable Care Exchange where they reside.
This can be DONE by Executive Order for ALL FEDERAL EMPLOYEES, you here me Mr Trump, President, Sir??
If you think the Republicans in Congress will ever offer a Bill to REPEAL OBAMACARE if there is a Chance it will be signed, I got some nice Beachfront Property in Florida for sale, comes with a Bridge.
oops, here?? Hear!
For the next few months, there’s free Okra at Moose’s garden... it’s a clearance sale
Democrats will still be elected by those harmed by Obamacare, people who always ignore the destruction (they acknowledge) democratic policies create. I’ve seen it many times: “I hate high taxes, I love Israel, too many regulations, etc.”, yet “I’m voting for Hillary.”
Poetic justice that these leftist hot spots are getting the highest increases.
BFD! Clintoon will be in office by then and she probably triple them.
Add to that; All waivers and exemptions to Obamacare will be terminated at midnight 31 Jan 2017. Any attempts to 'patch', 'repair', or 'fix' Obamacare by legislation will be vetoed. The only legislation that will be signed is a complete and total repeal of Obamacare. (After all, the waivers and exemptions came from the executive office therefore they can be revoked the same way.)
That'll make the unions and the corporations scream for the Obamacare repeal.
Well Obama is keeping his promise to bend the cost curve for health care. Just bent it in a different direction than the fools thought he would.
