It turned out that the “white male” the media intimated was responsible for the murder was actually a decidedly non-white male of Indian or Bengali descent named Mainak Sarkar, according to RedStateWatcher.
Making matters worse for the deceptive media, they seem to have been caught in the act of attempting to cover up both the race and religion of Sarkar in an effort to make his crime fit with a political narrative by editing his Everipedia profile before publicizing his name.

Well the guy was quite likely a Caucasian. Skin color is not = to race........No matter what the leftys claim.
His surname appears to be a "caste" name, if you go digging around for Indian/Bengali roots.

So, it's possible that he IS a Muslim. Don't know much about the absorption of the Hindu ways by the Mughal Muslim conquerors/rulers.
So it really doesn't look like jihad although could have pushed him over the edge. More like a revenge killing it appears so far.
While it is the tradition to adopt an Arab/Islamic name when converting to Islam, Subcontinent India has a long history with Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism and thus, I believe, the name is not an absolute indicator.

Liberals need to change the crime percentage numbers......if he isn’t African-American and he’s not, then he has to be white. It’s black or white, no gray for them.
They need to lump everybody into the “White” category so that we all believe that crime is spiraling out of control and they can take our weapons. In reality, if you factor out everyone else, and look at only the truly “White” criminals, the US has about the same crime rate as Austria, Finland, or any other White nation. Yeah, I didn’t realize that Bengal had been conquered by the Islamic Moghuls, and that it’s more than 50% Muslim [53%].
I presume Sarkar himself was the one who provided the info about being a moslem.
