London's transport authority is far too dominated by white men, Labour's mayoral candidate Sadiq Khan said today.
There are currently 13 white men on the Transport for London board and just three women. Khan said he would ensure the board better reflected the "diversity" of Londoners if he becomes mayor.
"I will reshape TfL's board," he said during a speech in Brixton this morning.
"It needs to better reflect London's diversity in the interest of Londoners."

I have long said that Europe will see the return of extermination camps. If it happens soon, the Arabs will be sent to the camps. If there is a delay, the people who get sent to the camps will be the Europeans.
I think we are getting very close to that inflection point: the odds of Europeans going to the camps is now much higher.

Speaking of creeping, I suspect that Obama’s politics was a jump too far too early. As such, it may be partially or completely reversed. As a friend is fond of saying, for every political action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Do you think that's a crazy thing to say? I don't. If a desirable class of.. well anything... say government employment, university appointments, decent school occupancy ... was "under-represented" by favored-class (i.e., non-white, and more recently LGBT) percentages, merit was thrown out the window.
