A few from RUSH? It’s a 3 man band. Granted, a 3 man band with skills sounding like 20 musicians, but nonetheless 3. I know Neil is libertarian, so what of Alex and Geddy?
I think he meant a few political statements from RUSH.
I think they are all pretty liberal. I enjoy reading Neil’s articles on his motorcycle travels, and when he says something anti-God or some stupid political statement I just think “Well - he IS a gifted musician!”
Geddy and Alex are pretty non-committal about it, although I have heard Geddy say that he is on the liberal side of things. Just a brief mention in interviews, never anything in a concert. He has said that he will change a lot of Neil’s lyrics to both fit the music, and also so that he (Geddy) is something he believes in and can sing with feeling and commitment. “And sometimes it might just be 2 or 3 words that we keep. But Neil is just glad that someone read the entire sheet before trashing it.”
That said - just shut up and sing! Although sadly, I doubt that I will ever have to worry about RUSH cancelling a show in Charlotte.

My guess is that he hasn't changed his politics a bit, that he's a classic conservative democrat, who's party went off the deep end.

If a woman wants to go into a the Men's Bathroom I really do not give a damn but think she is strange. If a man follows my granddaughter into the bathroom he will have one hell of a problem and that problem is a very protective grandfather with no sense of humor and a few aging skills still left that are mostly deception. Do not touch her least you suffer the consequences of your stupidity.

I see this as a device to generate publicity. This is publicity at the expense of our daughters who will be vulnerable to being raped by these so-called “women” who are actually men masquerading as women who want to be aroused in a woman’s dressing room.
The way I see it, a man who does not have the self-control to handle their sexual urge to be a woman does not have the self-control to be around women in their most private moments.
This disorder goes deeper. Subjects in the psychiatric services of the Clark Institute in Toronto identified these men by the auto-arousal they experienced in imitating sexually seductive females. Many of them imagined that their displays might be sexually arousing to onlookers, especially to females. This idea, a form of “sex in the head” (D. H. Lawrence), was what provoked their first adventure in dressing up in women’s undergarments and had eventually led them toward the surgical option. Because most of them found women to be the objects of their interest they identified themselves to the psychiatrists as lesbians. The name eventually coined in Toronto to describe this form of sexual misdirection was “autogynephilia.” It was concluded that to provide a surgical alteration to the body of these men was to collaborate with a mental disorder rather than to treat it. Those who collaborate with this madness, by enabling access to opposite sex facilities, likewise, postpone the study, cure, and ultimately the prevention.
Their peak, in my humble opinion was 1993 (Wedding Album) and maybe 1995 with the Thank You album. By the late 90s, they were non-existent. I think they couldn’t really cancel in Charlotte because they’d actually sold a fair number of tickets, and refunding the money would have really screwed up the very limited profit nature of this tour.

It’s insanity. I actually feel bad for people with the brain dysfunction of gender dysmorphia. There isn’t much of a cure for them. Their medical and psych experts tell them to “transition,” and doing so helps a few of them. But they need to use the bathroom; where do they go? I do feel for their safety. I am not afraid of a confused guy who is trying to see if he can be happy living as a woman in the women’s room.
But we cannot survive letting ANY MAN in the ladies’ room where our grandmothers and little daughters are helpless.
There are less than .01% transgender people in the country. Half of the people in the country are women and girls. Come on. It’s insane to sacrifice them all for such a tiny group.

All of the above and the right to do what they want to in the bathroom with your children without being prosecuted. I bet the MSM will rush to quash any stories about the faggots molesting children or men posing as women to get access to the bathrooms to rape women once it gets started...

My 18-year-old daughter’s friend and the friend’s father were there. The daughter is probably all “inclusive,” like teenagers are, but I’ll bet her father was angry.
