A question for Trump supporters:

If Trump is unable to ever secure a majority of the delegates to the Convention, how can he be a winner?

And sadly, Cruz is in even worse shape.

What's amazing here is there are those Cruz supporters that don't at least want to realize that the whole evil cabal that is attempting to stop Trump. You have the Dem party, the GOPe, the enemedia, the Cruz campaign, the Wall St cronies and more all coming together to try to stop Trump.

I never thought I'd see the day where conservatives aligned themselves with such an unholy alliance just to try to stop one American citizen.

If this unholy alliance does stop Trump from getting the required number of delegates, how is all this principled or even conservative???

We are definitely living in some interesting times when so called conservatives are aligning themselves with this unholy alliance all in attempt to take one citizen out. It's beyond crazy.

Kind of simple really, by the use of force, instead of President Trump at the ballot it will be General Trump the leader of the Second Revolution, but this time the North and the South will be united.

Now a follow up question for cruzites, followers of Lyin' Cheatin' Rafael, teddie, Cruz. Are you willing to fight, kill and if needs be die for your guy?

We are!

A few points-

-There has never been an outsider with no political experience get this far in a primary before...ever. He has done it all against the system, by the power of the people.

-There has never ever been a front runner who had his entire party turn on him. Can you imagine if the Republican establishment rallied around him like they did McCain and Romney? If so, he would already have won the nomination and his unfavorable ratings and general election numbers wouldn’t look so bad.

-There were 17 Candidates going into this which split the vote for much of the early primary season.

-Finally, after all this, Trump still thumped Cruz in the states that were built for him (The South) among the voters that were right in his wheel house (Evangelicals).

Hope that answers your question.

Answer. He cannot.

Stop focusing on the GOP candidates and focus on whether you want Hillary to be president for the next four years.

I don’t. I cannot survive four more years of communism/marxism/socialism that Obama has choked us with.

Ted’s killing himself. At the family town hall with his daughters in the audience;

T. CRUZ: He would be someone that you would be a fool not to look at seriously. He’s very, very talented. And, you know, you asked if Marco and I are friends. Let me tell you a story.

So last year, I wrote a book called “A Time for Truth.” And in the book, one of the chapters is talking about the year I spent as a law clerk at the Supreme Court. And it describes — the chapter begins with me watching pornography on the Internet with Sandra Day O’Connor, which was a bit of a bizarre experience.

(LAUGHTER)

It was the first of the Internet porn cases to go to the court, and the court librarians were showing the justices what the Internet was, and they’d pull it up, and the story I told, I was clerking for Chief Justice Rehnquist. They paired the chief justice and Justice O’Connor and their law clerks were in this little room looking at this computer screen that pulls up hardcore porn. And Justice O’Connor — I still remember, she leaned forward and she squinted and said, “Oh, my!”

But the Marco piece of this — so the book comes out and there were some — you know, reporters thought that was a funny story, so they wrote about that story. And I’m on a plane and Marco texts me and says, “Holy cow, you watched porn? Our oppo researchers missed that.”

(LAUGHTER)

Now that was funny. And listen, he’s got a good sense of humor. I laughed when he sent that text.

He can be the winner because he would have won the majority of delegates had the other two candidates dropped out when they couldn't win as historically occurred in all of the other primaries.

Running just to stop the front runner from getting the required majority to force a convention fight goes against the spirit of the primaries.

As the only non politician with a chance in the race and with a conspiracy between the RNC, Cruz, Kasich and others all against him how can the people ever win?

A Trump victory would be one won against all odds against all things both legit and especially the majority that is not legit.

AMERICA FOR SALE?
Let me see if I have this right!
Early American elections have been about competing ideas on how best to guide the country toward the Founders Constitutionally articulated goals and principles . Sadly, more recent electoral contests have become battles between those who wish to more closely adhere to those early goals and those advancing increasingly alien systems of government, some of which seek the outright abandonment of the Founders’ vision.

Both the early and more recent elections have always been about persuading enough fellow citizens to support a candidate’s or party’s position. It’s why there’re called “elections”.

The modern electronic media driven campaigns have raised the cost of getting out the competing messages to a level where only those who have or have access to large sums need apply. And, although we began as a “republic” (the rule of law, i.e., the Constitution), elections are the unavoidable and potentially troublesome democratic aspect of the process for which no one wishing to maintain the remaining freedoms we still enjoy has found a substitute.

With the recent controversy involving “delegate” selection by local and state party elites comes a new and rather frightening development.

Probably due to Trump having upset the “established order”, it seems that campaigns are no longer buying persuasive media to get the word out to the general election voters, THEY’RE BUYING DELEGATES in an effort to stack the deck at the nominating conventions. Since they only have to persuade a few thousand citizens as opposed to trying to reach millions in the general population later, it’s cheaper and they can effectively dictate and limit the choices the general voters will have on election day!

Question: Can someone explain why this isn’t the same thing as bribing members of a jury to secure a desired verdict?

But I’m far less troubled by some miscreant bribing jurors than I am by what’s going on right now as you read this. While the verdict in a rigged jury situation hurts or damages the entity or entities who were the victims of the tampering, the eventual victim of what can only be called delegate tampering is the entire nation and, if an agent of one of those alien systems is the beneficiary of the tampering, will be the very futures of your children and grandchildren!

Have we really become the philosophical eunuchs the Founders feared? Have we really sunk this low?

Please tell me where I’ve got this wrong. I really DO want to be wrong on this one!

JMO - a majority is more than half.

Trump has 743 delegates

Cruz has 545, Kasich 143, a total of 688.

More than half.
