Yes, but ultimately ISIS is not going to go away because we mocked them. Maybe he thinks this will dampen their ability to recruit, but people who would strap bombs on themselves, and blow themselves up in order to kill others aren't likely to be dissuaded by ridicule. Plus, isn't this the same liberal crowd that tried to blame Benghazi on a video that ‘offended’ Islam? So now mocking them is good? Probably the more relevant question at this point is ‘why am I actually spending time reacting to something Bono did?’.

When I was young and read Orwell’s Animal Farm, I thought it was fictional dystopian allegory. Now I see that it is actually non-fiction, and not some theoretical scenario of what could happen. It portrays real-life politics with 100% accuracy. Having Bono testify about dealing with ISIS is just more of the absurd farce playing out.

I agree with the premise that we should be mocking the hell of them. Our movies should portray them as the intellectual and moral troglodytes that they are. They should be the brunt of constant jokes and mockery.
But that could not be done without mocking what they are, which is deeply Islamic, therefore, they will not be mocked by the Left.
