Just had FoxNews on for the second showing of Kelly's show. She is actually defending Byrd's involvement in the KKK by saying 'well, he was young'.

That’s ole Slick’s line. “He was young and just starting out in them hills and hollers of WVA and he just ‘had’ to fit in so’s he could do sum gud for the peeples of WVA, I tell ya. So he had to become a grand vizier not because he wanted to - it wusen because he HAD to.”

I missed it ... was it before or after Megyn’s tribute to Trump for his treatment of the young woman he helped?

Obtain your news from One America News (OANN) and you will be much happier!
The only need for Fox News (FNC) is simply to watch the Sean Hannity program.
Other than that, the channel is completely and utterly worthless. Enjoy OANN instead!

Yep, she made it sound like Byrd was in the Klan only as a little kid. Thankfully one of her guests corrected her.

I don’t know how people can stand to watch these shows.

She’s horrible.

I used to say this before the fake feud with Trump, and people would argue against me.

Probably some are the same who now hate her because they love Trump.

Weird world.

Sorry, I only turned it on at about 9:40 and she was discussing Byrd with two other people. I was in shock that she downplayed Byrd’s KKK ties. I thought he was a Grand Kleagle, at one point.

She jumped the shark with the Trump feud. She has gone way beyond her role as an anchor. The best she was was when she did guest shots on OReilly and focused on a 5 min report.

Ted Cruz was her very first guest and she immediately laid into him for something. He said, “Can I even say hello before we start?”

To be clear, I mean he was the first guest on her first solo program. Not her first guest tonight.

I quit FOX back during Katrina because of Mascara Boy and Whoraldo crying and their horrid reporting.

Only time I ever see or hear of Megyn is on here or watching the debates.

“Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.”

— Former Klansman and current US Senator Robert Byrd, a man who is referred to by many Democrats as the “conscience of the Senate”, in a letter written in 1944, after he quit the KKK.

“I am a former kleagle of the Ku Klux Klan in Raleigh County and the adjoining counties of the state .... The Klan is needed today as never before and I am anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia .... It is necessary that the order be promoted immediately and in every state of the Union. Will you please inform me as to the possibilities of rebuilding the Klan in the Realm of W. Va .... I hope that you will find it convenient to answer my letter in regards to future possibilities.”

There are about a hundred variations of how much or how little he was involved. He was talking to a couple of rabid black advocates that were all over her to prove Trump was a racist and hated women, blah, blah, blah. In my opinion, she threw the youth thing (which was one variation that has been printed, it was age 23-24) at them as a brush back pitch. Not defending her, but what’s fair is fair. She followed it up with the VERY touching clip of Trump at a rally with a young woman he helped enormously.

Altogether, it was pretty even handed treatment, if not slightly tilted towards Trump. The two junk yard dogs that were on her were pretty wicked. Just the way I saw it. If you had it on so you could rewind it, you’d see it too, I think, with an open mind. I think Byrd was a Klansman by birth and by nurture, no doubt. Just saying what I just watched.

Bingo! Right after it became apparent Obama defeated Romney, on Fox News Megyn had a peculiar smirk on her face. She was trying hard to contain her glee with the outcome of the election. At least that is my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

It was during the segment where they had this black racist come on TV and say that Trump has been a racist since the day he was born..she needed to look in the mirror to see who the real racist is
