The Tao of Trump

Posted on 03/17/2016 6:46:50 PM PDT by Talisker

One of the most famous ancient symbols in the world is the symbol of the Tao. It is round, black and white, and has a basic image of two fish chasing each other's tails in a circle. Most importantly, each fish has a tiny eye of the opposite color at it's thickest point.

Donald Trump is the white eye in the black fish.

The symbol of the Tao is based on an ancient observation, that our world is made up of opposites. And more, that when one of the opposites gets the upper hand, it brings the seed of it's opposite, deep within its very strength. Thus, in our world, according to this ancient theory, there is no such thing as total evil, or total good. Total evil will always harbor a seed of good, and total good will always harbor a seed of evil.

Not by trying, but because, as the ancients observed, this is the very essence of how the world is made in the first place. Maturity brings the seed of death. Death (winter) brings the seeds of spring. Full life (summer) brings autumn and then winter. On and on and on. In an eternal circle, which is why the Tao symbol is a circle - it's the circle of life itself.

Thus, the victories of the Left in America, which basically have "progressed" unchecked since the early 1990's, have created, through those very victories, their opposite - the seed of resistance, resentment, and political rebellion, against growing government oppression that is now erupting as Donald John Trump.

Trump has remarked that nothing can stop him, that his numbers will always keep growing. And like some political "Moore's Law," all of America, and then the whole world, has watched this come true. But Trump didn't create it - he's riding it, because he recognized its power. That's probably why he's a billionaire. "The Art of the Deal" aside, The Donald's genius has been in knowing what deals to get involved with in the first place. And his success over the years shows he's got a sixth sense about this subject.

That's why Americans like a "winner." Most people aren't so stupid that they think money creates morality. But they know that there are some people with a genius for perceiving, before anyone else, when some underlying force of society or business or politics is about to rise up. When the "Tao" of that thing has reached it's farthest limit, and is about to erupt through the opposite "eye," and reverse itself. These geniuses practice this awareness, test it with their efforts and investments, and check themselves constantly to keep themselves sharp. Trump is one of these people.

Of course, there are "evil geniuses," too. People who study the limits of morality and truth in society, and prey on its weak aspects to make them stronger, and thus exploit that downward trend. So this concept is not limited to finding the good in things. And it's also not so simplistic as "think positively," because that can and often is exploited for it's downfall. In fact, to be good at one side is to have the ability to be good at the other side, too. That's why Trump has his character flaws, too. He senses "upwellings," for good or evil, or any other duality, and SEES them coming. So he can choose to take advantage of them as he wishes.

And, obviously, he has, for the most part, chosen to take advantage of them to build things, to employ people, to follow the law, to make money, and to love America. But in doing so, he's had to keep, as they say, "his friends close, but his enemies closer." People who don't understand him think this is a flaw in his character - it's not. It's the nature of his talent. THEN he decides what to do with it, and why he points to what he's built, while people scratch their heads and argue about how he got there.

And that's what millions of voters trust in him. They know he's not perfect, and he comes complete with all sorts of character flaws that would sink any other candidate. But he's shown a serious interest in making America succeed where it's been undermined and sabotaged, and his entire life shows he knows when the opposite is going to rise up.

So it's not just that he believes in America - it's also that by running now, he's showing that he believes that the white eye in the black fish is about to erupt into the white fish all over again. And THAT is why he's chosen to run NOW. Where others see a dismal future, Trump's "spidey sense" is tingling so hard he actually decided to act on it and throw his hat in the ring. And that's why he keeps pointing to his past successes - he's saying, "look, I know what I'm doing, NOW is the time America can recover from all this socialism and become great again!"

And that is the Tao of Trump.

From the Tao Te Ching:

Those who use the Tao to guide leaders do not use forceful strategies in the world. Such matters tend to recoil." [#30]

Too much cunning strategy among people, and strange things start to happen. Too obvious a growth in laws and regulations, and too many criminals emerge. [#57]

People are hungry, because those above consume too much in taxes. People are difficult to lead, because those above interfere with them. [#75]

Excellent. I never thought of it from this perspective, but it makes sense.

“Engage people with what they expect; it is what they are able to discern and confirms their projections. It settles them into predictable patterns of response, occupying their minds while you wait for the extraordinary moment — that which they cannot anticipate.”

Plus, everybody agrees he did a great job on Doral.

Everyone except OCD liberals.

And they're right about so many things.

Especially discerning babies from bathwater.

Sounds good, but does not describe the whole of life... there is an absolute Good, God... and nearly absolute evil, Satan. Satan in his evil is not the equal of God in His Good.

The good that is described is not God. It is the good of the world of duality.

Good is defined by God. God’s good is the kind that causes a man to see his fallenness, sin and separation from God. Man’s good may in fact keep him eternally separated from God. Man’s idea of good is that of maintaining a certain level of human comforts and order to the universe around him. God will rattle man’s cage, take his comforts and disorder his universe in the hopes that he repents before he finds that eternity has swallowed him up, forever on the outside of true Goodness. God is not willing that any should perish.
