Why some foreign politicians are not so keen on Trump

Mr. Trump's novel foreign policy proposals, such as forcing Mexico to pay for a massive wall along the southern US border, banning all Muslim immigrants, and most recently, bringing back torture, have prompted anxiety among top world leaders about the possible global reverberations should the real-estate mogul and reality television star become leader of the free world.

"You know, it's very tough to beat enemies that don't have any, that don't have any restrictions, all right? We have these massive restrictions. Now, I will always abide by the law, but I would like to have the law expanded," Mr. Trump told host John Dickerson.

"I happen to think that when you're fighting an enemy that chops off heads, I happen to think that we should use something that's stronger than we have right now. Right now, basically, waterboarding is essentially not allowed, as I understand it,” he added. “I would certainly like it to be, at a minimum, at a minimum to allow that."

Meanwhile, Germany’s Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel said in an interview Sunday that Trump is a threat to world peace.

Sure, Trump is a threat to world peace, but terrorists aren't... What is the matter with this German Vice Chancellor?!

And they think the American people should listen to them?

For the same reason some domestic politicians aren’t keen on him - he might upset the slop trough they’ve been feeding at for generations.

The most cogent quote by Trump to date.

This article appeared in a legitimate, well-read newspaper, The Christian Science Monitor.

I don’t know why you moved it from News, where I posted it and put it into a fringe topic.

I would appreciate it, if you would please move it back to news.

Thanks.

As I recall every Republican who has run for the presidency in my lifetime has been a threat to world peace according to the European socialist.
Reagan was going to start a nuclear war within minutes after taking office.
They were all having orgasms about Obama and now they don’t like him. These people are stupid.

Most foreign politicians have small hands, so their jealousy and slight character are “Come-pletely” understandable...

"Why some foreign politicians are not so keen on Trump"

In one word - 'unpredictable',
and even then , ... subject to change .

Trump’s enemies:

Dems
GOPe
MSMedia
Muslims
Mexico
Germany
Communist China

Well, I’m sure none of those groups have my best interests in mind, so Trump is the rational vote.

The government who gave us hitleresque, and Merkel, has the nerve to try to pick OUR leaders.

Mexico, who Trump has exposed as the money grabbers and promoters of illegal immigration, want to tell us who to elect?

So far, the main ones who are against Trump are the ones who stand to lose their cushy positions in power and money...most of them crooks.

Yes because the other politicians running for president who want to start world war 3 with Russia because they are some boomer cold war burn outs aren’t a threat to world peace.

From what I have heard from the people running for president Trump is one of the more “pro-peace” ones

Waterboarding doesn’t help the boot or pilot who has to ask permission before firing a weapon. NO DEALS.

The commander-in-chief makes the rules and draws the lines. Ask the Lieutenants and Staff Sargents who were under fire what the rules of engagement should be.

ASK THE FAMILIES OF THE SEALS LOST IN EXTORTION 17 WHAT THE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT SHOULD BE.

For me, this is a trigger topic and, yes, I am yelling. If this wasn’t FR and if I was alone I would sound like a drill instructor right now. I’ll just twitch instead.
