Twitter Is Gearing Up To Interfere In The Election

Last week, a report from BuzzFeed claimed that Twitter was about to implement an algorithmic news feed, a departure from the chronologically-ordered tweets which users have grown accustomed to, and by which the platform is defined.

CEO Jack Dorsey sought to calm users by saying they had no plans to implement the change this week, but reports from other tech publications indicate Twitter has already completed tests of the new feature. And indeed the company launched a feature along these lines this week.

For conservatives, this is bad news. If our feeds are ordered by algorithm, this effectively means that Twitter, rather than users, decides which tweets should be seen. Tweets that the algorithm decides are "uninteresting" to users might not be seen at all. Needless to say, I am already receiving DMs from fans claiming that my tweets are not showing up in their feeds.

Early voting in Texas begins Tuesday. Twitter will get the younger uninformed. The equally uninformed older folks have already been mailed their early-early ballots and are going with Cruz only because he’s from Texas. As someone said yesterday, if they were Supreme Commander, they’d require everyone to take a test. Enough with the moronic excuses of, “he’s from here” and “he has good hair or “he has whatever skin pigment.”

I’m wondering if the early votes are actually going for CRuz. He’s not well loved here. I hear older (Texan) folks talk about Rubio more than CRuz, truth be told.

Pretty sure something similar is already in use at Facebook.

They decide what streaming you see when you log in.

“Pretty sure something similar in use at Facebook...”

It is in use and ALL social media is using algorithms to subliminally encourage group think on what to buy in terms of consumer goods and even scarier, they are now being used to shape how we ought to be thinking on issues.

We are in for very dark times. Whoever controls the social media’s algorithm settings determines/controls the nation’s mindset unless we intentionally become aware of and refuse to participate in the process.

Close your social media accounts (not you personally, general advice) or be aware that they are a tool; the site owners are gathering ALL information like a giant vacuum, feeding it into algorithms determined by the programmers who are NOT conservative, and then setting their tag words and phrases to spit back their agendas to the consumers of their streams.

This is actually happening, I am not a paranoid nutcase and this is only the beginning. Machines/technology are now positioned via social media and internet linking to do our thinking for us if we let them.

My husband and I are almost certainly moving to the hills within the next six months and I am shutting down almost all of my internet activity (FR excepted).

To ALL - Trust nothing from any media.
