This is the question of the hour. If the Senate were under the control of Harry Reid and the Democrats, this nation would be officially over. There would be no hope.
The Republican senate may choose to cave. But who might rally those troops to stop this?
Who will stand in the Senate must defiant to the surest end of this Republic?
If Obama were able to ask Reid to place a replacement to Scalia, we would be about two years out to complete obliteration of civil rights for average conservative Americans.
In October 2013, Senator Cruz essentially shut down the USFG. We were essentially told that this was insane defiance of the Democratic Senate and it would snuff out any chance of winning the Senate in 2014:

The shutdown galvanized the conservative base of this nation to throw the bums out. The Republican Senate came to power. Had this not happened, we would be completely doomed.

He, or it could possibly be a woman if shes not a b!tch like that Fox News gal or as ugly as Carly Fiorini, would do great things in beating China and granting citizenship to Mexicans, once they've been sent back home of course! Just trust me, it would be somebody great!"
