Monkeys, wild boars and wild bison, Goa's state animal, would also be culled under the plans.

Do they taste like chicken?
Was just wondering myself.
I have heard nothing but good about Goa. It is supposed to be a wonderful place, with enough Christians to make it comfortable for those who are not Hindu.
how appropriate. MSNBC comes to mind...
I would like to recommend broiling in a garlic sauce. That should do the trick.
nice to look at, but not much else
They used to eat them in medieval times.
They seem to have nice plump breasts and thighs.
I wondered if they are edible.
Used to be a Portuguese colony, so it still has a heavy Catholic vibe although less than in the 50s.
I had a friend who raised peacocks here in MI and he said they are one mean bird..........
I hate monkeys. I don't know why. I think I would really like bow hunting them. It was five below here this morning, wonder what the weather is like in Goa this time of year...
I have had two different neighbors that raised them; they are so loud, especially when they do that screaming thing at all hours of the night. I suspect they were doing it because bobcats/coyotes were around. I was secretly rooting for the non-peacocks.
