I don’t support Rubio but I support your right to support Rubio. I disagree with it but I won’t cast aspersions your way.

Cruz had a steep uphill battle against a long entrenched Good Ol Boy Texas GOPe in his Senate run.

David DoWorst was probably a dirtier, more underhanded, well connected campaign foe that even Trump has proven to be and like Trump had money to burn.

In the end, Cruz beat DoWorst by a record or near record margin. How? By staying on message, not throwing mud back, staying positive and showing he was the better choice. His 2016 campaign looks a great deal like the Senate run.

Trump, like DoWorst is getting shriller and more dirty by the day, the DONEald likes like he’s imploding.

I'm a Texan living in another state. I'd vote for Cruz over Rubio. Rubio’s stand on immigration is the same as that of the Democrats. If I had my desires, I'd go for Ted Nugent and Sarah Palin. I am not enamoured with Cruz, Trump, or any of the other Republican candidates but I'd vote for any one of them before Hillary or Sanders.

I will vote for anyone that can beat Hillary or Sanders. I just don’t think Cruz can win. That is my deal. The contrast between Rubio and Clinton is stark. He could win. And I do not believe that Rubio’s position on immigration is the same. He has really had a change of heart on that no matter what anyone says. He will do what the American people want. I believe him. He would want to get re-elected. LOL

FRiend, I wish you the best, and I hope Sen. Rubio is still on the ballot for your state’s primary. And still in the race: I’ve voted for candidates whose names were on the ballot but had dropped out.
