Drive is my favorite. It makes me think of my grandfather and reminds me of my youth.
CAN'T STAND todays "country" music.
A great singer and songwriter.
I still get a bit of a chill listening to “Midnight in Montgomery”
There are three songs of his that I absolutely love, and he is what got me into Country:
1.) Everything I Love
2.) House With No Curtains
3.) Must’ve Had A Ball
All from the same album, too! After I heard that album, I began exploring more and more country, contemporary, and going further and further back, plumbing the late Forties and Fifties.
CA....
-Midnight in Montgomery
-Home
-Drive (also reminds me of my father and grandfather)
-Let There Be Christmas (most beautiful Christmas song!!)
-Remember When
-Where were you when the World Stopped Turning
Jackson got me to listen to country in 1991 while watching the Stanley Cup finals. Truck commercial. Never looked back.
AJ is like Travis Tritt, pretty much everything is good.
I get teary at “Remember When.”
Yes, that is one beautiful and moving song.
