Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump late Wednesday pinned blame for his scriptural gaffe -saying "2 Corinthians" instead of "Second Corinthians" - on evangelical activist Tony Perkins.
"Tony Perkins wrote that out for me. He actually wrote out the 2, he wrote out the number 2 Corinthians," Trump said on "CNN Tonight with Don Lemon." "I took exactly what Tony said, and I said, 'Well, Tony has to know better than anybody.'" The slip-up drew laughs from the crowd at evangelical Liberty University and led to attacks on the billionaire businessman's faith.
But Trump said he has since heard from "a lot of people" who tell him that he was actually correct.
"It's a very small deal, but a lot of people in different sections of the world say 2, and I've had many, many people say to me," he said.
"My mother, as you know, was from Scotland, and they say 2," he added
Trump seems to have a lot of things in his life that he uses as props.. Bibles, wives...
Probably never dawned on Tony that the guy was completely clueless about the bible....

Why the Bible is his #1 favorite book. Really Really Really. In fact, he’s really really really an Evangelical (said in IA rally).
The masses don’t seem to understand when someone is that emphatic, they’re lying.
Unfamiliarity with ones subject usually leads to mistakes. Blaming others for ones failures usually indicates ones liberalism.
His religion is Protestant. I suppose somewhere in his life he has heard someone say ‘Second Corinthians’.
Really ridiculous stuff to nit pick a candidate on. If this is what they have to write about then they must be at a loss. I notice they don’t write the stupid statements the guys with the low poll numbers might’ve made, which I’m sure are out there.
I would not let the press put you off anyone who might win the office against the current crop of Commies we have out there.

Of all the things to bash Trump about, this one is the dumbest. He’s not the first one I’ve heard say “Two Corinthians” . . . won’t be the last.
Well that’s one way of getting around that whole asking god for forgiveness thing. Just blame someone else.
BTW 2 Corinthians is the way its written in that bible that’s so familiar to Trump.
