Johnny Manziel is in danger of losing his biggest sponsor -- Nike -- with sources telling TMZ Sports the company is "on the fence" about dropping the QB from its roster this off-season. In fact, one highly placed Nike source tells us ... "We are worried about him and hope things will turn around in the right direction ... but we are on the fence if [our relationship] will continue."

He’s definitely not doing as well as anybody thought he could do.

He’s just not a high-character player.

That wig and Vegas debauchery may not have helped his cause.

The NFL has it own Justin Beiber/Lindsay Lohan.

My fear is the Houston Texans might be interested.

Please no! The Texans need a quarterback, not a addict/drama queen.

Looks like RG III and Johnny Football are headed to Texas but who will go to which team.

If Johnny was given a starting job (which he frankly doesn’t deserve at this stage), I think this would be completely different. Sitting on the bench is creating a vacuum for Manziel. Too much time on his hands and not enough attention.

I would hope the Texans do not get him, but at the same time, I could see them bringing in all these guys with potential but not success and see if they could catch fire. That included Johnny, RGIII and Kapernick as possibilities. I could also see a scenario where Denver casts off Manning, and Houston would be a perfect spot for a year or two. I don’t know if he has the desire, but if he does, it would be the perfect scenario. Great defense, offensive minded coach, big-time receiver.

He doesn’t really have an NFL strong arm. And, in the NFL he’s not faster than everyone else on the field. He’s just another short quarterback.

Houston would go nuts at the prospect of Manning.

I think the "strong arm" is the most overrate point in NFL football. Montana never threw it farther than 25 or 30 yards and he sure couldn't throw darts. Your other points are spot on though.

I agree about Montana. Just my opinion... but I do think it’s a different game now than it was then. Can you imagine if he went to Dallas and you had him and Dez Bryant on the same offense? Bryant would probably kill him in the 3rd quarter of some game....

the guy has been an Obama since he came onto the scene.

All flash, talker who has periods of excitement, but is morally challenged as he grew up privileged.

Manziel was given the starting job and he had a couple of adequate games but he couldn't stop the off-the-field antics.

Jerry Jones will pick him up to run back punts and kick offs. He is fast and shifty :)

That would be nice to see. Would Houston adopt its offense to Manning?
