Chicago’s First Homicide Of 2016: Man Shot To Death In Grand Boulevard

(STMW) – In the first reported homicide of 2016, a man was shot to death early New Year’s Day in the Grand Boulevard neighborhood on the South Side.

The 24-year-old man was shot about 2:20 a.m. in the 4600 block of South St. Lawrence, police said. He was dead at the scene.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office confirmed the death, but did not release additional information.

Part of the reason they got fired up[Laquan McDonald shooting] was the fact that police union and such lied about the shooting incident. And the fact that the police didn't get witness statements form the shooting and shooed away bystanders without questioning the incident.[I'm not saying it was a bad shoot]
