Why the heck he is complaining. He got a ton of money and Disney is saving his legacy with the new energy of the Star Wars franchise.
The Prequels sucked so bad I never was able to get through any of them. Just saw the Episode VII and it is the best Star Wars since Empire Strikes Back, which in my humble opinion was the best of the franchise.
My 9 year old son loved it and said ‘Best Star Wars ever!’ He has watched them all numerous times and is the beginning of the demographic for the series and sure to get his business in the future.

Does that make George Lucas the $4 billion pimp for selling Lucasfilm?

May be wrong, but Lucas could be referring to the H1B outrage being perpetrated by Disney under the odious POS Robert Iger.
Firing hundreds of people and replacing them with foreign nationals who are nothing but sweat shop slaves from India may not be “white slavery”, but it sure is some form of servitude, even if they aren’t exactly “white”.

It does give the impression that Disney management isn’t racially integrated.

Wonderful article that gives absolutely no context as to why Lucas said that or even what the question which he answered was. The Charlie Rose interview is on
Hulu, but I haven't found it yet when skipping around.
If someone else finds it please post the time when it he says it so we have some context.

Coming from a guy who *invented* Jabba the Hutt (and his treatment of Princess Leia...), that's a little bit rich.
Kind of like the Michael Moore diet plan (speaking of ol' Jabba...) /snark>

He compared W to the Emperor so no surprise at this one. Lucas is just another idiot liberal in the world of show biz.

Star Wars is the stupidest movie I’ve ever seen. What Lucas says doesn’t matter.

I read somewhere that Disney tv shows stop at 72 episodes so Disney never have to pay residuals. Slavers indeed.

It’s pretty bad when whites are accusing whites of slavery against each other...I guess they figure that the race card works for blacks, so why not!?!?

Star Wars is twisted fiction that appeals to fans at the San Diego Comic Con. Empire Strikes Back (1980), maybe the best of the bunch, had Luke rejecting teamwork with Vader. Now Disneyland wants to build a boring Star Wars park in Anaheim: no good messages for kids, no good tactics for soldiers, and no inspiration for Christians. Sad.
I remember what Roy Disney said about the new California Adventure when it opened in 2001: “I liked it better when it was a parking lot.”
The good news is that Main Street is still nice and Cars Land (2012) is a favorite for automotive fans.
But the lines are super long for the fun rides.
