Wonderful article that gives absolutely no context as to why Lucas said that or even what the question which he answered was. The Charlie Rose interview is on Hulu, but I haven't found it yet when skipping around.

If someone else finds it please post the time when it he says it so we have some context.

In an interview with Charlie Rose, George Lucas spoke about everything from his and Disney's branching vision to the deal itself. Lucas, who has always been protective of his series and even refers to them as his "kids," hasn't been looking back well on the deal with Disney (via Collider). "I sold them to the white slavers that takes these things, and...," Lucas said before laughing and deciding it better not to finish. (See the interview below. Lucas mentions the "white slavers" around the 50-minute mark)

I skipped a lot more and found it. Starting at 49 minutes.

[Lucas talking about selling his movies]

Lucas: When you break up with somebody the first rule is no phone calls. The second rule you don't go over to their house and drive by to see what they're doing. The third one is you don't show up at their coffee shop or [????]. You just say "no, gone, history. I'm moving forward." 'Cause every time you do ... and, you know, we all learn this from experience ... every time you do something like that you're opening the wound again. And it just makes it harder for you. You have to put it behind you and it's a very, very, very hard thing to do. But you have to just cut it off and say end of ballgame. I've got to move on. And everything in your body says don't, you can't. These are my kids.

Rose: All those Star Wars films.

Lucas: All the Star Wars films.

Rose: They were your kids?

Lucas: Yeah, they are my... I loved them, I created them. I'm very intimately involved with them. And obviously to sell them off..

Rose: And you sold them.

Lucas: And I sold them to the white slavers that take these things and ... and, uh [laughs]
