This could be happening in 1,000 towns. What place is this?
“Juveniles” again . . .
Mobile, Alabama
UPDATE 12:11 a.m.â According to MPD Spokesperson Charlotte Soilid, police are searching two shooters who fled on foot from  the Wynnsong 16 movie theater after shooting and injuring at least four people.
MPD originally reported that there were three victims; two 14-year-olds and an 18-year-old. However, they confirmed that a fourth victim was driven to the hospital in a private vehicle.
Three of the victims are male. One is female.
Drug deal gone bad or baby mamma couldn’t make up her mind which guy to sleep with or slept with one while boyfriend didn’t know..
Either this has recently become a daily occurrence nationally, or we hear about it sooner due to the ever watchful internet.
The latter. These are mostly local gang disputes.
As I like to say, resolution of business disputes in the recreational pharmaceutical industry.
Good one. Charlotte officially has no gangs, so shooting occurs during disputes between loosely organized groups of teens and young adults.
The headline “shot at a movie theater” will get this local source more traffic than “shot in a parking lot.”
Mobile, AL
put up more GUN FREE ZONE signs that would stop it.
That is a dandy euphemism for it!
At the beginning of one term when I was living in the residence hall, every door had the name and abbreviated form of the major of each occupant. One night someone changed the major of our big-time stoner to "Chem Rec." The next morning I was awakened by loud laughter in the hallway and pretty soon most of the "house" was standing around, yukking it up and admiring the succinctness of it.
"Dr. Bong" himself acted like it was some sort of endorsement for a few days, but he suddenly got exaggeratedly paranoid and removed it (which caused another round of hilarity).

I have a friend who lives in the area and he said their were 100’s of teens in a Home Depot parking lot earlier last night which is close to the theater
This was a post on the local news Facebook page:
My mom and step dad were just there. They said that a group of high school aged kids were loitering in the parking lot and yelling at people leaving the theater, they also shouted at them that they weren’t going to let anyone leave, and several of them attempted to block vehicles from leaving by standing in front of the cars as theater goers attempted to leave the theater. Police were present, but they weren’t attempting to control the situation at that time -most likely deliberating the best course of action to take or waiting for backup since they were outnumbered.
Its those damned stormtroopers.
Driving through Mobile a few years ago, we were a bit surprised to see an “Africatown” freeway exit....my mind did the ‘how blatant’ thing, until I learned that there really is such a suburb.

This is what kills me right here. It’s such a blatant lie. Too many people have said what was going on in the parking lot yet the media would have you think there were so many “juveniles” just waiting on a ride. Innocent little kids.
“A large crowd gathered outside the theater as police worked the crime scene. Many were juveniles there to see movies and were awaiting rides home.”
The whole city might as well be Africatown. That is why we moved a county over in Mississippi. I think it’s named that because the last slave ship to America took port there and they were let out there because by then they were free.
That is where we go to the movies because it’s the closest one to us. We also shop there a lot and have family still there.
This is in West Mobile. It was the good side of town. But demographic shifts are occurring. There is a WalMart a block over. It is a nasty place to shop. There is a Home Depot in between the theater and the Wally World. It’s nice, clean and free of riff raff because the products sold there involve work. Hah. There is a very good Cracker Barrel right there as well. It is the only Cracker Barrel I have ever seen that’s not located by an interstate.
The local media is remaining mum about describing the perps. So do we dare go out and about with criminals with guns on the run from the Po Po?
We dropped our daughter and her best friend at this same theater a few weeks ago. You can bet Papa Bear would not have done so if it had looked like the place looked last night. I don’t know anything about gangs in this area. But last night’s events seem to involve folks from another part of town. It seems orchestrated to me.
