He insisted in 2011 that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association wouldn't ask him back to host the annual award show that honors both TV and film, but lo and behold! He's back for not a second or third time, but a fourth time!
Hollywood better gird its loins, because as you probably remember, the Emmy-winning funny man did not hold back at all when faced with a room full of the celeb elite during previous Golden Globes. Jodie Foster, Johnny Depp, Robert Downey Jr., Angelina Jolie...no one was safe.

There is some brit humor I find funny, Benny Hill(yeah I know), Monty Python, Rowan Atkinson, but gervais just left me with a headache. Of course your mileage may vary.

They should get Karl Pilkington to host instead. I would definitely watch that!
He is quite a pompous ass himself but damn, he can be brutal with the Hollywood crowd. Bravo!
But I thought with those enlightened lefties, being queer is nothing to be ashamed of and everything to be proud of. Smells like hypocrisy to me, and we know lefties are never hypocritical.

What’s this nonsense with Brit and Canadian personalities and show flooding American movies and TV? Honestly, you can throw a can in the air in Hollywood and hit two Brits every time. American actors need work, too.
