One cat isn't exactly doing anything to dispel the notion that cats are jerks. A woman somewhere in what appears to be Russia uploaded a video on YouTube that will have cat lovers chortling and toddler lovers squawking in outrage. The video has received over 700,000 views in two days. A friendly orange and white tabby is playfully following a toddler in a puffy snowsuit through a field of snow and at first he appears amicable enough, continually rubbing against the little girl and wanting her attention. But when the kitty decided the girl isn't paying him quite the amount of attention he would like, he glances at her and then suddenly decides to body slam her to the cold ground. Luckily, the tyke was wearing protective gear that likely prevented her from sustaining any injuries. And the woman filming the scene, possibly her mom, seemed to find the whole thing hilarious. No more watching wrestling for kitty.

I hate the current practice of framing a video with a larger, blurry version. Fox news is the worst with that technique, but it looks like it is spreading. There is no legitimate reason to do so, and it just distracts from the image folks are trying to watch.
Whoever developed it should be tarred and feathered.
Thought that was due to using smart phone in vertical position or portrait mode instead of horizontal landscape mode with standard video proportions. Stupid and lazy user fault.
Actually, a misleading headline. The cat merely jumped on the toddler’s shoulders, wanted some attention.
The US media ignores or sweeps under the rug certain news stories to protect their beloved Obama administration and anything critical of islam.
DailyMail is good sometimes because they will print things that the US media refuse to print.
But most of the time... I swear... I believe they have 14 yearold writers scouring the YouTubes to write about a new video or printing a story every time Kim Kardashian takes a crap.
Yeah, it was just looking for a ride. Cats can be real jerks sometimes, this wasn’t one of them. But a funny video nonetheless.
Yes, it looked like ours does, when he wants to be picked up.
Cold and kitties is not good. Unless maybe if you are a snow leopard kitteh.
Agreed.
“If it were bigger...” ping.
It is the lazy users fault. I think the programmers should set the device video software to automatically go into horizontal mode - landscape for products of new skewl.
I get too many videos of landscapes that are shot vertically. Or other scenes where the info is cut off. TV and movies are shown horizontally for a reason. Actually, the only videos that MAY be improved by shooting vertically are actual portraits of someone.
The little kitty wants to ride on the little shoulder.
The little shoulder is too small.
I will little kitty.,
If I knew how to knit, I would knit you a pair myself.
House cats are ....cats.
Capable of expressing affection, but driven almost entirely by hard-wired hunting instinct.
“Body slam” is a bid strong. The cat jumped on a toddler’s shoulders and the toddler - fell down.
You’re right. Pure attack mode. Stalk, pounce from behind, target the neck, topple, and seize the high ground. The child was lucky to be bundled.
