New NASA Report on Polar Ice Caps Exposes Climate Change Scam
Federalist Papers Project ^ | 12.02.15 | Russ Hepler

Posted on 12/02/2015 6:56:37 PM PST by Olog-hai

Remember when Al Gore predicted the global ice caps would all be melted by 2014? Well, it may be an "inconvenient truth" for Al to accept the fact that 2014 has come and gone and, yes, we do still have ice caps at earth's poles.

In reality, what we are now seeing completely contradicts the whole "Climate Change/Global Warming" hoax President Obama is peddling at the Paris climate summit right now.

NASA.gov is actually reporting data from Antarctica that blows a huge hole in both Gore's and Obama's pet scare tactic:

... According to the new analysis of satellite data, the Antarctic ice sheet showed a net gain of 112 billion tons of ice a year from 1992 to 2001. That net gain slowed to 82 billion tons of ice per year between 2003 and 2008. ...
Well, what do you know? One of Obama's "science" agencies has come clean about what's really going on with the planet. ...

Yeah, but don’t you see? Those big ice caps are causing... global warming.

Again, these global warming alarmists remind me of the guy who predicted the end of the world and was genuinely disappointed when he was wrong.

Signs that the world is not warming, ice caps growing rather than melting do not make the global warmists happy that the earth is not warming. They simply double down on their dire predictions.

The issue is never the issue. The issue is always the agenda.

Millions of liberal arts majors ready to destroy the country over their opinions of hard science data models they freely admit they cannot explain, defend, nor understand.

Yea, sure, and in a few days we'll see: "According to the new new analysis of satellite data, the ice caps are shrinking. Oh, wait, what's today's directive from the WH again? I'm so confused..."

I actually dread the day when we actually can control the climate.
If you think scientists, politicians, opinion makers and regular folks can't get along now, just wait until they try to agree on what the climate should be.

Climate Scientologists everywhere are deeply saddened. They’ll have to make offerings to Saints Lysenko, Ponzi, Algore and Barnum.

We’ll control the climate as soon as we can control volcanoes. And that’s not happening any time soon.

Based on that article, I figured Bryson was probably an early kook. But his Wikipedia entry indicates he was quite a sane man, especially compared to today's leftist totalitarian true-believers...

Bryson's main contribution to the debate on climate change was the idea of "the human volcano" causing global cooling, via an increase in aerosol loading.[3] This idea was sparked in 1962 by his own observation, while flying across India en route to a conference, that his view of the ground was blocked not by clouds but by dust. At the time, the instrumental temperature record did not show unambiguous warming and the view that the earth might be cooling, and heading for further cooling, was not unreasonable. Others, including Hubert Lamb, who created a Dust Veil Index,[4] thought volcanoes were more responsible for global-scale aerosol.[5]

In 1973, Bryson testified to Congress that global warming from fossil-fuel combustion was politically unstoppable.

There is no way right now that we can control the climate to make it more benign. Even if we were to say "let us stop using fossil fuels so that we do not add carbon dioxide to the atmosphere, because that impacts the world climate," how on earth could you stop using fossil fuels? Even those countries that are most heavily impacted by the climatic change are the ones who say it is our turn to be affluent and it is in the use of fossil fuels that one gains affluence.[6]

In later years, when it was clear that the climate was indeed warming, Bryson argued that while climate change and a global increase in temperature are real, he did not believe that they are caused by human activity. Rather, he argued that they are part of natural global climate cycles, particularly the end of the Little Ice Age:

"All this argument is the temperature going up or not, it's absurd," Bryson continues. "Of course it's going up. It has gone up since the early 1800s, before the Industrial Revolution, because we're coming out of the Little Ice Age, not because we're putting more carbon dioxide into the air."[7]

Quick! make copies of the report and distribute among attendees of the climate change conference.

Climate change scam, terrorism contained nonsense, clock boy wants to be back in America. The media is batting 0 as they support the opposite of common sense and reality.

By lib logic that makes perfect sense. Everyone knows warm air rises, so all the global warming air up here pushed all the cold air down to Antarctica. Sheesh, just look at a map or a globe, do I have to explain everything? :-)

Note, as mind numbing stupid as that sounds. .... I guarantee you that there are obama voters that either think that, or would believe that if you told them.

Wonder how long it will be before the folks at the conference figure out that Obama is blowing smoke up their hindquarters?

Hell they can’t even agree on what it is, once the Grant money for that is dried up they will start on milking the Grant Cow for what it should be

Probably a few days in the shower once they realize Obama was that “close” to their hindquarters.
