Walk of Shame: How Tennessee's famous high-stepping horse became the latest animal-cruelty scandal
(Excerpt) Read more at youtube.com ...
The equine community has made significant progress toward shutting down the abusive trainers. The annual show in Shelbyville, TN has no corporate sponsors; a big time “soring” trainer turned states evidence a couple of years ago and gave up names; TN and USDA vets inspect the horses at the show. Violators are arrested and horses seized. InBev/AB came down hard on a local distributor who agreed to be a sponsor. I spoke with AB and they were furious at the guy. They denied him permission to use the corporate name, logos, Clydesdale posters, even cups. Coca Cola did the same the previous year. We equine people have been all over this for years.
I have never heard of this. I watched part of the video, is it painful for the horses? What do they do to cows?
You posted this once before that I remember. Do they do anything to cows besides put a bolt in their brains to kill them instantly? Do they make them suffer while stepping? Is the pain 24/7?
I bet the good ol’ boy network puts the fear of satan in everyone. The Lord will be returning on a white horse and I bet the horse’s gait will be smooth as silk and totally out of love and not pain or fear. Of course, it is a war horse.
Come to think of it, I’m going to have to see what OT laws adhere to the care of animals.
i have never posted on horses before, you must have me mixed up with some else.
It wasn’t horses it was probably dogs?
