The descriptions of them in the Hadiths suggest that they are more like Japanese sex robots. They are certainly not human thus a martyr’s reward on entering the place of gardens under which rivers flow is eternal masturbation with sex toys.
Possibly. The word in the Koran that is translated as “virgin” and is understood as that by Moslems is quite possibly derived from an ancient Aramaic word for grape. The definitions in the Koran and the Hadiths, however make it pretty clear that in Arabic, whatever the derivation, the word means “virgin” but then those virgins are described pretty much as non-living sex toys, robots as it were.
Much like a child, I don’t think these jihadis have thought through their idea of Paradise. Having 72 women to deal with every day might become difficult over eternity. That doesn’t leave a lot of time for fishing, hunting, or just hanging out with the guys. I’ll bet not a one in 72 can cook a goat properly.
(In fairness to women, I don’t imagine they would appreciate having to deal with 72 men, either.)
