That's what Freddy Fabris did to get a unique twist on the works of Renaissance painters.

The mechanics, clad in overalls and tools in hand, posed in an auto-shop.

I guess you have to have a strange sense of humor to enjoy these.

They were pretty good!

Jesus...and...the nine apostles at the Last Supper?

Good with cars. Not so good with books?

Kinda silly, just a wee bit blasphemous, but very creative, well researched and well executed. The Jesus figure with the oil siphon (?) is remarkable, looks like Albrecht Durer, the high Renaissance German Painter. Whoever planned these photos understands the effect of lighting. The wrench scene made me think of Caravaggio of Milan.

The garage looks so dirty. I remember as a lad
going into auto garages with dirt floors, pits
cut into the dirt for cars to park over rather
than lifts, the rich smell of oily grease, and
the heat. No air conditioners. Everyone was
dirty and greasy like these guys.

just a wee bit blasphemous

Oh, please. Tell us how these are "blasphemous".

By your statement, then Michelangelo's "Last Supper" (the one we all know) is blasphemous, too.
