So you have to use your whole brain to believe in God.

Would a good Transcranial Magnetic Injection into a rotted liberal brain end their persistent childish beliefs in free everything for everybody and communism would work if only the right people were put in charge? Maybe we can set up secret magnetic beams on the streets of Washington DC, NYC, Boston, Chicago, Seattle, San Fran and LA to render labs harmless to themselves and us. It’s worth a try.

Yes I think that’s their fantasy.

They’re obviously insane, they’re certainly not normal. Liberalism is a mental illness and somehow if we don’t stop them they’re going to destroy as many people as they can.

Surely there’s more of us than there are of them.

If true, it’ll also work on socialism, climate change, gun “control” and best of all.....liberals.

Huzzah!

But, it won’t work for God.

Actually, I hear that taking "psychotropic" poisons like Prozac and other SSRIs can do that, too. For my sister, Prozac seemed to blur her ethical boundaries and almost erase any sense of guilt for bending or violating customary manners guidelines.

Just my opinion and hints from reading about (side)effects.

A friend of mine, her Uncle was on Prozac and your sister sounds exactly like he was.

The effects were temporary, and probably dissipated as soon as the magnetic field was shut off.

I am not certain that anything can be said about this experiment beyond the fact that temporarily disengaging parts of the brain makes people think/act differently. Beyond that, to make some generalized conclusion about human behavior is to go way beyond what the evidence shows.

I believe HG Wells wrote about a man transported to a valley where everyone was blind... the people there poked his eyes out so he wouldn’t act so weird.

It’s funny. It was an atheist at my old job who helped me regain my faith.

He said “just because humans have the capacity to believe in God doesn’t mean there isn’t one”

There is evidence that the ability/propensity to believe in God is an inborn trait. Part of the brain exists for the purpose of believing. This is why you see people who reject Christianity then turn to all kinds of crazy beliefs--new age mysticism, paganism, Rastafarianism, scientology, etc.

You have to wonder why the desire to believe in God (or something greater than self) is inborn. Could it be God's way to ensure faith? Or is there some other reason for it?

You are exactly right.

Marijuana does exactly the same thing to the brain...it is why they want to legalize it. and because it kills IQ points-—esp. when children use it.

(memory/prefrontal cortex...removes self-awareness (the Seat of the Soul).....exactly what the Satanists and the Marxist want to destroy. They have been trying to “Kill God” for 150 years. If they can’t do it by operant conditioning in the schools (which works on most)——they will do it with drugs or other means on the homeschoolers.

go to 31 min. The whole thing is interesting though.
