Don’t like any of the characters, except maybe the prepper kid. At least they had a Doors song in the premiere. To date, it seems this would be better as a mini-series instead of an ongoing.
Looking forward to 1.3 tonight after a 2 week withdrawal.
Season 5 of TWD hits Netflix on the 27th. This will give those who haven't seen it yet two weeks to binge before Season 6 premiers on AMC on Oct. 11th.
Hopefully the whole cast will die soon.
He is really nothing more than a plot device. I suspect he'll die soon.
I don't see anyone who is "important" other than the current cast members.......
I suspect this is just a mini-series fill-in until the original TWD starts up again.........
And if I were the writers with no intention of creating a series out of this one, everyone left by the last episode would either die or end up in a hopeless situation.......
IIRC, FWD is a short-series of 6 episodes for this season.
It has already been renewed for a second season, but I have not heard for how many episodes.
so far I’m liking FtWD. I like seeing the plot start from the beginning. Makes me less confused and more interested in seeing characters develop. Didnt get into TWD because it failed to do that.
Btw, the protests about police shooting the zombies was funny. The fault lies with the govt keeping the zombie plague hidden from the public.
It will be ironic to see how these liberal characters suddenly discover the need for guns!

Jeez, I wonder if (in Fear-the-Walking-Dead [FTWD] land) the mainstream media will be complicit in the “hiding”. Political correctness in FTWD land will require that the media not mention the “Zombie status” of the killer in stories about the deaths of individuals.
