What things are getting better these days?

Posted on 09/12/2015 10:57:16 AM PDT by MNDude

It seems like everywhere we look things are getting worse. Christian values are being replaced by values of the secular world. The American flag is being replaced by the rainbow flag. Europe is getting overrun with Muslim migrants and USA is getting overrun with third World immigrants.

Fewer and fewer American young know what right the Constitution guarantees, and few care.

It seems hard to find things that might actually be getting better. In your opinion, in what areas in the world and the USA are things getting better?

Donald Trump’s poll numbers.

You think maybe, there’s a connection, with all the ways America is currently (not) excelling anymore?

Congress? They’re getting wealthier by the minute.

Bankers? Ditto.

At least he fights. Often crudely. But he fights.

People are no longer trusting their governments. That’s better than trusting governments when they strive to marginalize us.

Technology is getting better-medical, electronic, engineering, computer, etc. That’s about it though IMO.

Gas prices are lower, Obama’s popularity seems permanently impaired, Hillary Clinton is taking a beating in the polls, and she may be in criminal jeopardy.

For the majority of human history, life stunk. We, the USA, was blessed by a bunch of strongly believing founders, who set up a situation where good men and women, could make their lives better and the lives of the people around them. It was not perfect, anything made by man is fundamentally flawed, but it was very good and did a very good job.

We are coming to the end of that period, and are approaching the human norm. Suffering everywhere.

The amazing rise of the middle class in the non-Moslem Third World, particularly in China, India, Brazil, Viet Nam, and the Philippines.

The realization that there is, and will continue to be, enough food, clothing, and energy to take care of the world’s population.

The miraculous growth of Christianity throughout the world, which is ripe unto harvest.

And perhaps one other thing. We may be beginning to realize that history is both linear and cyclical. We thought in the 40s that if we could get rid of the Axis the world would become peaceful and prosperous. Then in the 80s we thought that if we could get rid of the Second World powers the world would become peaceful and prosperous. Today we think that if we could get rid of Islamofascism the world would become peaceful and prosperous. Peace only comes through strength, and prosperity only comes through liberty and hard work—and this will not change until Jesus returns, and even then, it will be His strength that brings peace and His liberty that brings prosperity.

For the .1%, things couldn’t be better.

For the rest of us, well we haven’t been bled dry yet.

But the .1% are working on that.

And the ones who are offended by this statement, are most likely a part of the .1% cabal, and will be along shortly to put you in your place.

So just enjoy the ride down while the moneychangers and FRee traitors sell your country out from under you to the highest communist/fascist bidder.

it’s good that in these hard times we the separation of the wheat from the chaff. you see it in the small/house churches—churches that look and feel like the Scrooby church. God almighty once again looks to be in the process of honing His remnant.

Christ is appearing in visions and dreams to Muslims in every Muslim country and these Muslims are turning to Christ. Underground churches are growing in Iran.

For the people who work hard honestly and have been designated by the government as ‘oppressors’, much worse.
For the beneficiaries, free money, food and housing. Plus they don’t have to work. For 0’s new “10,000” refugees, it will be heaven on earth. Plus, they get to rape our daughters and escape jail.
Some things are getting better for some people.

Dollar bill readers actually work now.

Car alarms don’t malfunction as often.

Coors Light is cheaper than it was a decade ago.

Most of my teachers are long dead.

And the real thing that gives me hope for the future - the exponential growth of home/un schooling. Soon, everyone will wake up to the fact that warehousing children was a horrible social experiment.

And as a result, it seems more people are waking up.

Ask yourself: what would we be talking about and what would the Republican field look like if not for Trump?

A big part of leadership is the ability to frame the issues and elevate what is most important.

The discourse would be the meaningless drivel coming out of the mouths of the GOPEs chosen ones Jeb and Rubio. The same crap nobody is listening to anymore. Because we don’t have to!
