GOP frontrunner Donald Trump met again with Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), the leader on immigration reform, symbolically underlining the candidates determination to shake off cheap-labor advocates in the Democratic Party and business groups. The Senator has just been amazing on the issue, Trump told reporters as he met with Sessions, shortly after Trump had spoken at a rally against President Barack Obamas Iran deal. Good!
Reassuring.
Hope he sets him straight on those “Syrian” “refugees.”
I’ve been pushing for reciprocal. The way the Mexican’s treat their illegals is the way we treat any that come through their border. No jobs,no foodstamps, no ownership of property, fines, jail, and out.
But when Trump talked about letting the Syrian moslems in that don’t seem very likely.
He will. And Trump’s a quick learner.
I’m sure Trump/Cruz would put a big smile on Jeff’s face. It sure would please me. Jeff Sessions is the bomb.
He needs to get straight on that and the Supreme Court. He needs Sessions and Levin to tutor him.
What a relief to hear Trump's direct and concise responses to questions!
I just went to your link and read it. Cruz is as brazen and ballsy as Trump although he’s still a young man, unlike Trump. I hope Cruz has a long career in politics - we need him; fine man.
cheap-labor advocates in the Democratic Party
There are plenty of them in the GOP as well
In fact, the majority of the GOP are cheap labor importers
Would not surprise me if Trump was conferring with Sessions about the Syrian refugee problem. His remarks on BOR the other night were pretty innocuous. He was kind of dancing around it trying not to sound like a hater but he didn’t really say what he would do.
He needs to think through these issues. He’s already been called a hater by the media so he might as well go whole hog, lol! No refugees from the Mideast, Donald!!!!
