Sarah Palin defends Donald Trump, open to being his running mate

Former Alaska Governor and 2008 GOP Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin is again defending Republican 2016 frontrunner Donald Trump. Palin was promoting her guest hosting of "On Point with Sarah Palin" airing on the One to One America News Network on the entertainment news show "Extra" on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015 where she spoke with Renee Bargh about all the Trump bashing. Palin also talked about Vice Presidential choices and attacked Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton over her continued political scandals and President Barack Obama's failed policies. Palin and Trump have long become friends and their political love affair seems a mutual admiration society.

Palin defended the daily attacks from the left and right geared towards the Republican frontrunner who has been soaring in the polls leaving the rest of the GOP field in the dust behind him. Palin told Extra about Trump, "Man he is just getting crucified out there just for telling the truth… he's doing a good job of that and he's shaking it up the way it should be, and he's leading other candidates and having to talk about the issues that average Joe Six-Pack American wants to hear and wants to talk about."

Again the subject of Palin joining Trump on the GOP ticket as his Vice Presidential running mate popped up. Palin remaining ever so modest left the option open, commenting instead, "Well, there are so many good potential female running mates out there, and male running mates."

Well Palin is still being coy, but just promoting the idea of her as Vice President, with the opportunity this presents.

:D

I like Palin, but she’s a walking lightening rod for the Looney-Left. If he has to pick a women, I’d rather see Carly Fiorina.

Ping to Sarah's Awesome List!

"Well, there are so many good potential female running mates out there, and male running mates."

That was Sarah's Quote, so thanks Examiner, when I want a melodramatic headline I will know who to turn to.

Well I disagree, Fiorina isn’t the same.

I see Sarah Palin as the real candidate from the year 2008. And she completely connects with a (LOT) of people out here in America.

Big time. Sarah Palin is FR. Donald I like, but I want to go on record as being enthusiastically for Sarah Palin as his running mate.

Just saying.

Personally I think Sarah is well qualified to be VP.

However she has been so heavily bashed by the media that she has been stigmatized and thus would represent a negative factor in the voters eyes to Trump’s campaign.

Regardless of my above thoughts, what trumps this (no pun intended) is I believe Cruz is much better qualified. I would pick Cruz over Sarah any day.

Should the powers that be think a female must run as VP, then I’d take Sarah in heartbeat over Carly. Sarah I trust, Carly is a RINO.

I disagree.

Palin would cement the votes of FReepers, still holding out against Donald.

In my opinion it is the ideal campaign. Perfect.

Ted Cruz has said some very nice things about Trump. Now we have Sarah Palin saying some very nice things about Trump.

On the other hand, Lindsey Graham and John Boehner have both bashed Trump.

I'm starting to see a pattern here.

Lindsey Graham needs to go back and ponder how he is going to have a rotating first lady if he becomes president.

I guess an issue is: should we really worry about how Sarah Palin has been bashed and bruised by the media and late night comedians, and should we say she can’t run for national office because of what the media thinks of her?????

In other words, do we want the liberal media to have veto power over who we as conservatives would like to see run for office????

You both make very good points. I see Sarah Palin as the next Secretary of the Interior, with job one being to dismantle the EPA.

Aside: The EPA is presently in no cabinet department. It needs to be dismantled, with its few positive functions being folded into the Department of the Interior.

Thank you Sir Lion. One or two FReepers are still keeping at least one eye peeled for Mrs. Palin’s public pronouncements.

She still has many many enemies at work (even this week) on FR, soooooo...

Others are watching her too...with a different perspective than you and I.

(Perhaps some in the press really do know they’ve been telling falsehoods about the demise of SP’s viability all along?)

Gov. Palin Talks 2016 With Extra TV

Posted on August 28 2015 - 3:10 PM - Posted by:

Governor Palin sat on the One America News set for an interview with Renee Bargh of Extra TV.

Of her experience guest hosting ‘On Point’, Palin expressed happiness for the opportunity to be returning to her "journalism roots".

The two talked 2016 presidential politics, with Bargh asking if the former VP nominee would be interested in reassuming that role.  Palin brushed off the suggestion, indicating that there were many other qualified candidates.

She was asked about both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, the respective GOP and Democratic frontrunners.  Palin gave kudo’s to Trump raising the issues that average Americans want to hear about.

Palin believes the media may be playing a game with Clinton, reporting somewhat aggressively on the email scandal, only so they may later claim down the road that they didn’t give Hillary a pass on the matter.

C4P has two video clips for viewing.  First up is the broadcast version aired nationally by Extra TV.  Second, a somewhat more in depth clip released online.

• Sarah Palin • Extra TV • 2016 • Donald Trump / Hillary Clinton • 8/27/15 •

• Sarah Palin • Donald Trump's 2016 Running Mate?? • Extra TV • 8/27/15 •

She actually touts Allen West in the second video.

FWIW.

Too many perceived negatives.
Cruz or the Doctor would get the nod IMO.

Blow their minds and bring in Dick Cheney. LOL

The problem is your still looking at the next election the way the media wants you to look at it, who can get elected based on yesterdays criteria! This election has just two possibilities, an outsider who tells it like it is, or Bush - Clinton. Stop worrying about who’s electable.
