In February 2015, Columbia University—currently ranked the fourth most distinguished academic institution in the United States by U.S. News and World Report—announced that all its students, undergraduate and graduate alike, would be obliged to take part in a “Sexual Respect and Community Citizenship Initiative.” This “new, required programming,” the Columbia bureaucracy explained, was designed to explore “the relationship between sexual respect and community membership.”
Columbia’s students were given a menu of “participation options.” They could watch a minimum of two preselected videos about “rape culture” and gender identity and write a “reflection” about what they had learned. They could attend film screenings about sexual assault and masculinity and engage in a monitored discussion afterwards.
They could create a “work of art” about the “relationship between sexual respect and University community membership.” Or, if they “identif[ied] as survivors, co-survivors, allies, or individuals who have experienced forms of secondary trauma,” they could attend workshops on “Finding Keys to Resiliency.”

I remember having to go through a mandatory “rape awareness program” when I decided to pledge a fraternity back in college (because, you know, only frat boys are potential rapists, not other students or boozed-up townies). That was bad enough, but making an art project as a requirement?
One wonders just how much more affordable a college education would be if all the nonsense and agenda-driven BS were trimmed away from the typical university?

No biggie. America was built by people that sought out knowledge outside ivory towers.
It can be done again. Lets face it. The only people that value a modern ‘education’ are liberals. Because a modern ‘education’ is merely agenda packaged as knowledge. It has no actual value outside liberal circles.
Example? Can someone do actual science with a degree in climatology today when the basis of their entire education taught them a lie as fact? Nope. All they can do is more agenda and reality has a way of sorting that out eventually. The best thing people can do is take advantage of the internet, learn, seek out practical teachers and when the sXit hits the fan, it will be they, not the harvard ‘grad’ that prospers. Because they have knowledge that is useable and not LBGTUVWXYZ mush in their skillset.
When one makes their own way in the world, being beholden to a liberal company isn’t required. We need to readapt that forgotten truth.

One has to suppose that a miniscule handful of lucky kids somewhere still have stay-at-home Moms in a traditional family setting.
However, upon quick reflection, it's obvious that Columbia University and U.S. News and World Report suffer from the same low standards that result from submission to the decadence of Western Civilization.
These people apparently have no idea how low their standards and their criteria of quality have sunk.
