This last week the 17 Republican candidates debated one another in hopes of getting us to offer our support to them.
Has watching the debate has changed any of your positions of who you wish to see get the Republican nomination?
That was the same for me...I went from leaning to Cruz to all in for Cruz. I also learned why she so many people like Carson so much...he’s a swell guy!
Not in the least. Go Cruz!
Not really, other than Ben Carson who I thought did really well. I don’t think he’s ready yet to run for President and wish he’d win a House or Senate seat or something first to show he can close the deal in a general election, but he had some great lines, seemed very thoughtful and just proved what a quality guy he is.
I continue to like Walker because he took on and defeated the government labor unions in a blue state. That took a lot of moxy and he not only survived, but beat a recall and won 3 times in 4 years. So I think Walker would try to do big things.
Rubio doesn’t come across as a solid ideological conservative, but he has some charisma and with practice could get better on the stump and win.
Of all of them, Cruz is the best. He is clearly an ideologically conservative through and through. You would not have to worry about Cruz in the White House. You wouldn’t have to dread each morning would come with some new stupid regulation or pathetic nomination. You would not have to worry about the US sliding into malaise and surrendering ground to our enemies.
So Ted Cruz remains the best candidate in the field in my opinion.
Maybe. I am not as high on Walker. My opinion of Carly Fiorina is much higher. Ben Carson also now ranks higher.
Maybe not as high on Trump.
Sad that Cruz was not able to debate. Maybe he was too polite.
Next debate at CNN may be a little fairer.
Nope. Still trump and Cruz. The rest are useless to me.
interesting. thanks for the tip.
Yep.
I support Jeb less than before, and that was already no support; at the bottom.
Before the debate I was amused by Trump’s antics; at this point I am appalled by the antics of the buffoon. An Australian friend of mine who watched the debate in Sydney emailed me to say that he was convinced that Trump is a DNC plant.
I dont know about that, but hes no conservative, hes no constitutionalist, and he is no friend of ordinary Americans.
I am amazed by the number of good people who have been duped by the blowhard; just as amazed as I was with the people duped by the present President. There is something profoundly wrong with our educational system.
Ted Cruz
I decided to stop watching The Kelly File.
I like Rubio except he can deny that he is for amnesty until he turns blue and I won’t believe him.
I think the support for Trump is based on hatred for the Uniparty and the rigged system rather than love for him.
Seeing there’s little support for him in this thread makes me wonder if they succeeded in taking him down.
Same here; dumping cable altogether. I'm still Trump/Cruz or Trump/Carson, with Cruz or Gowdy as AG or SCOTUS.
Trump will win.
All in for Trump!
Trump speaks the truth.
Trump makes it happen.
Trump is the next President!
Agreed. The others are owned by the CoC, elite political class (uniparty) and the Marxist media.
Shouldn’t hang around Erick “the Red” Ericson.
Ted Cruz!
I was horrified by JEB.
Trump should have went home to bed, he polled fine despite the obviouse attacks, now I wonder about his mental stability and his self control, he has seemed overly compulsive and insecure since the debate.
He was my second choice, now I would choose Walker second.
Only Trump will build the wall!
