“The NFL’s fundamental failure to conduct an expeditious, fair, honest and consistent approach to rules enforcement undermines the entire game. The league needs to reconsider its suspension of Tom Brady, and use this unfortunate episode as an opportunity to correct a terrible injustice to one the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.’

Brady could quit cheating and the problem would go away.

The jealousy is outrageous. I imagine if he were a Democrat you’d be slobbering all over him. Knock it off!

I’m a Brady and Pats fan but this article seems like something paid for by Brady’s lawyers and essentially worth the price of the paper it’s written on.

Is Pete Rose betting on his team to win worse than CHEATING to enhance your teams chance of winning?????????

I don't think so and Brady's punishment was barely sufficient as far as I'm concerned.....PATHETIC

I would say unbelievable ignorance on your part regarding this fiasco, but I suspect that would be giving you credit for looking at the facts, when the reality is that regarding this, you are simply being another drone who mindlessly gets his news from the like of CBS and ESPN.

Like the millions of people who believe Obama is great and conservatives are right wing nuts, based on what they see on television.

Of course you don’t.

You think he should be banned for life, because people like you, who don’t even have the stones to look in the mirror and acknowledge that your opinion is based on hate, envy, and jealousy instead of the facts.

It is sickening, with the information that has come out that shows the entire thing was a smear attempt, based on lies, hatred, and deceit from the onset from a bunch of pussies who had the panties in a twist because they got beat by a better team, and have attempted via character assassination to accomplish what they weren’t man enough to do between the hash marks on a playing field.

That describes the organizations behind it, the Ravens, the Colts, and the NFL.

It describes some of the fans.

And it definitely describes the ball-less people who think the punishment wasn’t severe enough.

I would say it is more likely he is a decent human being, probably a conservative, who recognizes the unprecedented, scurrilous and unjust punishment of a good man.

Unlike many of the scum who wholeheartedly support this abuse of power and trust by the league and the teams behind it.

The real mark of weakness of character of a man is how hypocritically they would cry out at the injustice meted out to them on one hand, while fully supporting an injustice imposed on someone else, ESPECIALLY WHEN THAT SUPPORT IS BASED ON ENVY AND HATRED.

That describes you pretty well. You support this travesty. I would say you support this travesty in the face of the facts, but I can probably accurately assume you are totally ignorant of them.

Too many black villains in the NFL recently. Goodell was no doubt under tons of pressure to find a white one to balance things out.

You don’t need to raise your hand if you are a ball-less wimp who supports the lying, deceit, and abuse of power that has been fully brought to the light of day, but support it all the same because you are a totally ignorant, emotion driven drone who gets his news from the likes of CBS and ESPN.

You don’t need to raise your hand because that describes you to a T.

That is the second time I have heard that. I don’t see anything to that at all. Goodall is just a thug with a lot of money and power without a lick of common sense.

If he had any, he would have squashed it seven months ago.

Instead, he does what dumb, lying, power-hungry dummies like him do...he doubles down, makes the wrong decisions again and again, until the truth sees the light of day. And he hunkers down even more.

DIdn’t have anything to do with race.

Did you read the article? Have you read any of the released transcripts or read the summaries?

Because with each passing day, a growing number of people with common sense and no dog in this fight who look at this information see the railroading of Tom Brady and the Patriots, and an intentional attempt to defame and punish them, motivated by ego, hate and envy.

Are you really one of those people who reads this and sees it as a bought piece? Really?

Brady and that fat slob of a “coach” should be banned from the NFL for life.

There was one of these guys on another thread I could respect, he just came out and said he supported these attempts to eviscerate Brady because he hated the Patriots and Brady.

No attempt at being one of these pious pussies who whine about the integrity of the shield or the game, or cheating...just came out and said what was on his mind and admitted he was a fan, and that was how he rolled.

I am amazed at the number of people who won’t even have the stones to do that, right here on FR, and on this very thread.

I always expect better from some of these people, and am disappointed to see them. They remind me of the liberals who stuck up for Stalin through his reign and well into the Cold War, even when the facts became impossible to ignore.

The same people who thought Alger Hiss and the Rosenbergs were innocent, almost up until the point the Venona decryptions destroyed all doubt completely. Then they finally shut up. We don’t hear them anymore.

But we hear these people totally on board with what the NFL is doing to people in their league, even when the picture is painted for them how they lied and schemed to nail their victims. And then the truth comes out.

Maybe they will shut up eventually, but I doubt it. They are going to continue, the same way the liberals did with Stalin, the Rosenbergs, and Hiss, and these people supporting Roger Goodell and the NFL front office will likely continue on in their ignorance and blind support...because they are full of envy and hate.

Pray tell, why? Come on now. Don’t be a wimp. Give me some facts, hopefully from the Wells Report or Goodell’s summary supporting his actions.

Don’t be bashful.

If you say it is because you hate the Patriots and Brady, and that is good enough for you, then I will respect you for that. At least have some chunks.

Come on, don’t disappoint me.

I am from Wisconsin and a Packer fan therefore jealous of no other NFL team...the integrity of the game itself is threatened here and Brady was neck deep in the situation. There isn't a professional quarterback in history who wouldn't have known that the balls that HIS team supplied were underinflated....I don't hate anything except multimillionaire professional athletes who find it necessary to CHEAT in order to excel at their sport

Brady cheated.....PERIOD PATHETIC

Ahh. So you are one of the sanctimonious “Protect the integrity of the game” people then?

Really?

You want to view the way the NFL has leaked completely false information and deliberately LIED, and YOU want to protect the “integrity” of a group of people who would scheme, lie and deceive to slander and engage in character assassination to achieve their goals?

Is THAT the “integrity of the shield” YOU want to protect?
