"The laws of the land governing most of Western civilization, and America in particular, are based on the Judeo-Christian precepts articulated in the Bible. These laws are designed to provide maximum liberty and protection to the greatest number of people."

If the police were actually “out of control”, they would depose the mayors of their municipalities and impose a form of martial law there. That hasn’t happened.

We need a return to Vigilance Committees.

If the police were actually “out of control”,

I agree; they're doing exactly what the government wants them to do.

This article is an absurd response to the fact that too many police officers and too many law enforcement agencies are out of control and unaccountable for their crimes.

Yes, “crimes”.

Deal with the problem of unconstitutional policing instead of postulating absurdities and maybe we can get back to a time when people like myself trusted the police.

I’ve never heard of Ben Kinchlow, but I like this column. I’m going to buy his book and see what else he has to say.

Someone tell the police that?

Deal with the problem of unconstitutional policing instead of postulating absurdities...

Absurdities make for better columns for sites like WND.

Wasn't he Pat Roberson's side-kick for a while?

Ever heard of “The Battle of Athens”?

That part of history is why the gov’t wants to remove the rebel flag from the roof of The General Lee. Boss Hoggs need protection.

Or, their Unions would funnel obscene amounts of money into a particular Mayoral candidate's campaign so he or she will do their bidding; namely, to protect and defend out-of-control cops.

Before malls and big box stores took over Main Street, the local businessmen were always on top of anything that went wrong in the town . . . the city fathers. (And, mothers ran the neighborhoods and schools).

WND is a conservative site. If you don’t respect it, you’re not a conservative.

That's the litmus test these days? Everything on WND is gospel and no disagreement is allowed?

WND is a conservative site. If you don’t respect it, you’re not a conservative.

That doesn't follow, even accepting your major premise. It is quite possible to argue that WND's style and mode of reporting is harmful to the conservative movement, and thus, to accord them little respect while being a conservative and accepting that WND is a conservative site. I myself have often found their reporting suspect and their style a bit over the top from time to time. Others who feel the same way may well have lost respect for the site.

"law enforcement agencies are out of control and unaccountable for their crimes"

Please name the cities and districts where the police are out of control and unaccountable for their crimes.
