Gabrielle Reece: I May Be Feminine, But I’m Not a ‘Doormat’

Gabrielle Reece, the pro volleyball player married to surfer Laird Hamilton, recently caused a stir by writing, “to truly be feminine means being soft, receptive . . . submissive” and she isn’t backing down.

she stuck to her guns in Beach magazine: “In my experience, being a strong woman, but being with an alpha-type male, I found an easier flow when I assumed a more feminine role inside the home. Which doesn’t mean a doormat.”

Looks like she has packed a few pounds on since having the kid, but is happy with Laird and life.

Accodirng to the feminazis, she should be bitter, angry, and divorced...........

she’s right. the great lie of feminism is that women and men are the same and want the same things. it’s not true. that’s why post-feminist men and modern women are both so unhappy.

women want to be with stronger men, men who lead, men who are dominant. they want to feel that their role in the relationship is the feminine one. they don’t want emasculated pajama boy types. they might say they do, but it’s a lie. deep down, they don’t respect them and that’s why when they are with them, they cheat on them with the “bad boys”. it’s why nice guys finish last nowadays. those nice guys have been lied to by our culture and by feminism, but don’t know it. that’s why the friendzone is filled with nice guys who have no idea why the women they pine for have no interest in them.

My wife is very feminine, but she is also tough when she needs to be. Sweet as sugar; tough as nails.

Exactly. Feminism has really done men wrong. Give me a guy who won’t mine me going to the shooting range with him. However if he goes and he’s wearing skinny jeans, I’m just going to shoot him :) One less girly man to contend with

Are they sure she didn’t say “I may be feminine, but I still vote Democrat.”

Well Laird is the Chuck Yeager of the Surfing world so I don’t think he is going to be too girly-man.

Well, Laird is the Chuck Yeager of the Surfing world

Yes, that man clangs when he walks. What he has done purely from the determination to try what no one else had the guts to do is beyond belief.

Very much like Chuck Yeager.

I saw in a Laird big wave video that LH credits God for the waves. It was a simple statement but refreshing.

Laird is definitely not a girly man. I simply agree with what Gabrielle is saying. As a successful, capable woman, there is nothing wrong with being feminine. I would rather be the soft counter balance to my man’s strength. Doesn’t mean I am a pushover.

Yup, I just didn’t know if you were familiar with his history. There is a great movie on the history of big wave surfing that portrays his legendary part (the title escapes me) that is a great documentary.

As a somewhat disturbed consequence of repressing these urges, witness the wild popularity of Fifty Shades among the very women who claim these urges aren’t there.

I’ve seen non roar southern girls coo over 50 Shades too

There is a connect between 50 Shades and the Twilight crowd in some cases

I’m just observing ...what do I know

I pee standing up.

What kills me about women today is how often they must crow about how strong and independent they frigging are and it’s almost always just talk

It means in actuality they are loud demanding bossy confrontational and rude....and unhappy

Truly strong women reside in history or the third world where the rubber hits the road

Life in famine

Life in war

Death in childbirth

Working your ass off physically day in and day out without a AC just washing clothes or cooking hoping some armed enemy marauder didn’t come kill your men and burn your home and gang rape you and your daughter

Kneeling by yet another grave of one of your young children taken from you by pestilence or violence

Having a profound faith in God and relying on your good man and sons to protect you but knowing how to aim and load when need be

Bearing frequently over a dozen children in your life sans epidurals and not hating your husband for it but rather thanking God for each and everyone And for Christs sake not murdering them like so many women today

Now those were strong women.

Women today are too often like fags and hipsters

Indulged

Spoiled Rotten

Angry and bitter towards men

Confused by their instinct and brainwashed by the urgings of ugly women who’ll never have men anyhow

Consider childbirth a burden and body wrecker

I detest hearing women in upper middle class America crow about how strong they are

Godless vapid creatures often seduced by the serpent

Not freeper women but tell me I didn’t just describe many modern western women...especially libtards

And if it makes you feel better....men ain’t much better
