I remember when I was very young, a boy no older than 7 I figure, I went into my parent’s bedroom and began playing with my mother’s things. By the time I got caught, I was wearing lipstick, costume jewelry, and high heels. My parents screamed at me and sent me to my room. They told me I was a boy and should not be dressing up like a girl. I remember being very angry and sad about this.
My next door neighbors had a daughter a little older than me. I remember thinking she was so cool. She and her friends had these stick on earrings and they let me and my brother have some. This wasn’t even a thing about femininity, but rather I recall some of the 80’s bad guy characters on TV having their ears pierced and I thought it might make me look tough. But again, my parents said “You’re a boy, boys don’t wear earrings” and demanded I stop. I defied them, and they said “If you don’t stop, we’ll make you wear a dress to school and all the other boys will make fun of you”. I told them “I don’t care, I’ll wear a dress to school” at which point they confiscated the earrings and sent me to my room once again. Once again, I was very angry and very sad.

No one decides their gender. It is assigned to them by God who makes us and our children male or female (regardless of the mutilations we allow.) Parents that do not raise their God-given children according to the gender that He assigned them, are in direct rebellion to Him and actually destroying their children. Transgenders are 20X more likely to commit suicide that normal children and statistics reveal that most regret their decision later in life.
What will happen to these child abusing parents who have rejected God and His assignment of their children's gender? What will happen to parents who facilitate the premature death of their children outside the knowledge and love of Christ Jesus who died to save them from their sin? I shudder to think...

Children have very little concept of “gender roles.” They see a shiny object and they want it - so no wonder baby boys are attractive to glittery jewelry and the like. Oddly enough, my neighborhood playmate was a real man’s man who played rough games and could shimmy up telephone poles. Well, turns out at the age of 45, he knows all the songs from “Frozen” and has been seen wearing a dress. Go figure.
This nonsense is so stupid and shocking. It would be the equivalent of saying walking upright is a human construct and shows bias. We should stop encouraging our babies to stand up and walk. If they want to crawl then lets surgically help them stay crawling. Look at nature. Crawling/walking on all fours is natural.
Or how about diet? Babies want to keep their bottles so lets let them.
Children tend to fight going to school. Hey, they are born uneducated so lets keep them that way.
Clothes. That is a social construct. Let’s keep ‘em naked.
Why teach kids anything. Why be civilized at all? Just lock them in a room — oh wait! Rooms are not natural. Who needs those evil houses. Stick the babies out in the wild and let nature be nature.
Excellent piece, thanks for posting it. Too bad some wacky “anarchist, atheist, abolitionist” has more sense than so many other more “elite” people. (I wonder what he is keen to abolish at this time, but never mind, maybe it’s the Left and that would be all good!)
Any parent who would take an idle bit of conversation as the instigation to change their child’s gender probably should have their children removed from them, and I do not say that lightly.
PARENTS - it is YOUR JOB to explain reality to your children, NOT to follow them along like the lost boys followed Peter Pan. A fictional character in case I need to spell that out.
Part of child development is about pretending and imagining all sorts of things. Kids think monsters live under their beds and in their closets. If they think they are something they are not in the gender area, I would put it in that category. To do otherwise would be like creating a real monster to live in their closet in order to validate their fear.

Giving the children agency over their bodies is essential to legalizing what i would call raping children and advocates would call “love”. If they can get an ied or abortion or even sex change without parental consent (already in oregon), then no argument against so-called “consentual” sex can be made.
