The Trump Card

A sure-fire way of assessing the threat that leftists feel toward any challenge to their nonsensical narratives and preposterous Trump Black and White Card RSN 320policies is to measure the long knives and “important” people they drag out to slam the competition.

Whether it’s the leftwing JournoList cabal of 400 so-called journalists and academics who in 2007 colluded to launch relentless character assassinations against every person who challenged Barack Obama about anything, or the obsessive sexist attacks and slander leveled in 2008 against Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin, or, more dramatically, the strange death of Obama critic Andrew Breitbart, the bleeding-heart left has zero tolerance for opposing opinions and those who express them.

But as we’ve seen in the past few days, Republican establishment heavyweights have their own long knives and “important” spokesmen, which they trotted out in force when billionaire real-estate magnate, philanthropist, and TV personality Donald Trump announced his run for the presidency of the United States of America on June 16, 2015.

Quoting:

"On the Fox News 6 p.m. show hosted by Bret Baier, two Republican poobahs weighed in and didn’t even try to camouflage their snobbish condescension. George Will, none too elegantly, called Trump a “bloviating ignoramus,” and told Mediaite that he hoped Trump gets “shellacked,” while Charles Krauthammer, a diehard Marco Rubio fan, asked about Trump, “Look…can you take him seriously?” "

Please enjoy.

The boy who cried wolf. He lied about running before. He’s lying this time. Trying to get attention while bashing conservatives.

Do you want to change the GOP platform on abortion to fit the 69 year old Donald Trump’s, pro-choice position?

It’s always said on FR that libs show who they really fear by who they attack the most viscously. So, since many Republicans and conservatives are going after Trump so hard, why do they fear him so much?

“Trump is crushing the social media scene, with Facebook reporting that within 24 hours after tossing his hat in the ring, “3.4 million people shared information about Trump 6.4 million times,” making him tops among all Republican contenders.” Trump was also “the most searched GOPer in every state the day of his announcement, and his `search interest’—percentage of national queries for the hour after he announced—was 87 percent.” “

Read it and weep;."@KarlRove, who spent $430 million in the last cycle and didn't win one race, said I'm not a candidate until I file papers. Next week Karl!"

The value of the Trump candidacy is that he will force conservative candidates to strongly defend their positions from his attacks. They need this strength to defend & counterattack the inevitable Clinton machine.

Too, Trump is also going after Clinton. He’s hard to beat in an argument. He doesn’t apologize. He has the money to buy the media exposure & he’s entertaining - an attention grabber. In a one on one, he would leave Clinton in tears. Can you say that about any of the other Pub contenders?

No, I don’t support the self interested Trump for President. But he’s excellent at separating the men from the boys, the BS from candor.

Remember, the Carl Rove led GOP elite must be defeated as much as the Rats or we will have 4-8 more years of decline. I don’t believe we can survive a Hillary or a Hilary-lite.

Just so you know, Buddy Ebson (who played Jed Clampet) was a lifelong conservative.

Just so we can get the facts out there, Trump wrote in his 2000 book supporting universal healthcare, he favors raising taxes on the rich, he supported the Kelo decision and tried to get the government to force a homeowner out of their home in Georgia to build a parking lot for one of his hotels. He was also a registered Democrat from 2001 - 2009. This is the candidate that some out there want to support?

****************

Out of over 400 candidates for President in 2016 there will be a range of ideas
for some to find to their lacking. The major parties will eventually weed
their choices down to one and most likely will happen by the end of the
Mar. 1 primaries.

Link to a table listing all individuals who have filed a Statement of Candidacy
(FEC Form 2) with the FEC to register as a 2016 presidential candidate.

You lie, you never mentioned his financials.

Which, BTW, will be filed on time, without any requests for extensions.

You are crazy. The key think is he’s never going to release his financials, because it would show he’s not a billionaire.
