“Dick Cheney failed to stand up for Scooter Libby.”

.....but GW could have and should have pardoned him, but he was afraid to go against the political winds, just like he never vetoed any bills and just like he never stood up to his critics.

No disrespect to W but watching Cheney debate Lieberman back in 2000 I thought we’d been better off flipping the ticket order.

No disrespect to you for your opinion but the results of the polls were clearly in support of Cheney........

...which would tend to support my theory Cheney would have made a great president.

That’s what I meant by flipping the ticket order

Mr. Cheney recorded no reaction, but one can imagine some consternation....

Ah, the NY Slimes...admitting near the top of their fake news that they "imagine" what happens...

Colin L. Powell was the polarizing figure. He would stab you in the back to please the democrats.

In February 2008, an aide sent a news article to Vice President Dick Cheney reporting that former Secretary of State Colin L. Powell might vote for a Democrat for president. Sections were highlighted in yellow, and someone had circled a quotation from Mr. Powell in which he said America had lost "a lot" of prestige around the world. Mr. Cheney recorded no reaction, but one can imagine some consternation at what the vice president presumably deemed disloyalty to the administration that both of them had served. Mr. Powell had been the vice president's chief internal adversary during President George W. Bush's first term and had grown disaffected. An aide clearly understood that Mr. Cheney would want to know the latest.
No bias, not at all.
