What did the world look like as it was transforming into the horrifying apocalypse depicted in The Walking Dead? This summer, AMC will answer that question with Fear The Walking Dead, an all-new original series set in Los Angeles, following new characters as they face the beginning of the end of the world.
Starring Kim Dickens (Gone Girl, Sons of Anarchy), Cliff Curtis (Missing, Gang Related), Frank Dillane (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) and Alycia Debnam Carey (Into the Storm) and Executive Produced by Dave Erickson (Marco Polo, Sons of Anarchy), Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero and David Alpert, Fear The Walking Dead premieres this summer, with a second season airing in 2016.

Please let me know if you would like on or off The Walking Dead ping list.
Looks to be interesting.
Looking forward to this!!!
I just hope they don’t limp in the explanation for how it started.
Southern California
How will they get the guns they need?
Always in Los Angles...who cares?
How will they get the guns they need?
LMAO.
Ok, I have never watched this show. Should I get season one and start? Why?
I hope this show will answer the question.
Also, they need to reveal the timeline:
When/where did it start?
How fast did it spread?
When did it reach the Georgia group (TWD)?
==
All we knew from TWD was that it happened while Sheriff Rick was in his coma for about 2 weeks (IIRC).
Then, at the CDC unit, we learned it has spread and that even the living had the virus.
==
Maybe FTWD will answer some of those questions.
Captain Tripps.
I like watching it for the characters. It is a drama that takes place during a zombie apocalypse. It is based on a series of graphic novels (comic books) written by Robert Kirkman. The zombie make-up effects are supervised by Greg Nicotero, who used to work for George A. Romero and Tom Savini (Day of the Dead).
I like watching the show from a prepper’s perspective - what would it look like if our country suddenly fell apart? Sometimes the characters make really good decisions. Other times, I pull my hair out asking why didn’t they do x, y, and z?! LOL!
If you like zombie movies, the I would say to give it a try. The Walking Dead can be pretty gory, though, so if you don’t like that sort of thing, then it might not be for you.
So...military experiment gone bad.
Loved The Stand!
This looks interesting.
When the TV program first started, I said I would never watch such a ridiculous program.
I heard so many comments of praise that I finally gave in, as Netflix had season 1. Half-way through Episode 1, I was hooked. Haven’t missed an episode since.
Piggybacking onto CJ’s response....
I would suggest you check it out even if you aren’t into the zombie/horror genre. The selling point is the good character-driven drama; much of the time, the zombies are background material. In fact, the title refers to the humans.
My sister-in-law and her husband can’t stand horror, but they started with Season 1 and became completely addicted.
YES
Why?
Just because I said so.........
